Rammohan College has always been a zone of comfort to its students, providing pupils with utmost guidance and preparing them to stand aloof in the rat race of life. One year in this college and it already looks like a haven of intellect with professors lighting the candles of consciousness in knowledge drought. The college's excelling efforts to keep up in the game is what made me choose this institute above others. The welcoming approach of professors is what makes Rammohan charming, enchanting students to be admitted. Above all, ragging is never heard of word here.

Bachelor’s of Arts in Rammohan College is one of its own kinds with students eligible to choose their desired subject for their major paper. A student has to have at least a fifty-five percentage in higher secondary to be eligible to enter the course. The entry requires marksheet of board exams of 10th and 12th, a passport size photograph along with some government approved documents like Aadhaar Card, etc. The motive for enrolling in this program is to make one knowledgeable and intellectual enough to pursue their dream career or opt for further studies.

One of the impeccable credentials of Rammohan is its amazing faculty members who are always eager to provide help in need. Starting from Head of the Department (HOD) to newly appointed professors, they all dive in to guide us when in doubt. There are presumably a set of five professors in each of the department hosting classes, encouraging art and creativity, and above all being amazing support.

Though there is no placement cell in our institute, we do have an internship program of two weeks as introduced by University.

Yes, college does have hostel facilities with food being provided four times a day. It is a four-floored building with effective security and cameras for surveillance in corridors. The hostel is complete in its own with celebrating occasions of importance among the students like fresher’s reception and farewell party.

Rammohan College consists of two buildings: old building that is shared with two other colleges namely City College and Anandomohan College and new Science building where most of the classes that require practical demonstrations are held. While one may find problems with the infrastructure of old building since it lacks projectors and other technology, the drought is filled with an amazing library enveloping collections of some of the most alluring books. The Science building however presents us with projectors, language rooms, and a museum of Raja Rammohan Roy. There are canteens in both the buildings. The college also has a GYM along with other amenities like water filters, a botanical garden, and many others.

The college is responsible for inflicting fun into the lives of students besides knowledge. It encourages students to participate in engaging activities like singing, dancing, reciting, and acting during numerous events that held in college during several occasions such as the Teacher's Day, the International Language Day, World Environment Day, and many more. Each department has a society of its own where it publishes magazines with poems, and drawings created and curate by its own students. However, this does not really make a department better than the other for the students never view one as superior. It incorporates a friendly atmosphere among students even between seniors and juniors.
