Sister Nivedita University B.Tech Review By Arnab Mondal

Sister Nivedita University is underrated university compared to what it offers. I am a student of B.Tech CSE. For my course I will say, infrastructure is top notch, faculties are mostly great and cooperative, and the best thing is that we are being taught according to the syllabus under the Education policy. We are not just taught the technical subjects, but also subjects that up skill us, like Soft Skill Development to enhance our thinking skill. We are also being taught foreign languages (I chose German, and it is great). The best thing about this university is not above-mentioned points, it’s the peaceful ambience. The library is place of my choice, if you want to calmly study. The washrooms are also great, and have nice water supply.

It is my 3rd semester and the academics are good. Unnecessary subjects like Engineering Drawing, Metal Cutting, Carpentry, and all are not there like in MAKAUT colleges. subjects are all the sensible ones. Semester exams are conducted; mid semester exams are also conducted, along with regular tests and revisions.

The faculties of Sister Nivedita University are great for the most part. They are all intelligent, calm, and cooperative. They understand our problems and deal with us accordingly. They never miss classes and are mostly on time. They also motivate us. they even clear our doubts.

Placements in our B.Tech CSE branch are decent. Renowned companies like Dell, HP, Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, etc. come during placement session. Many seniors got really good packages from renowned firms like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, HP, etc.

I don't use the hostel facility.

Infrastructure is great in Sister Nivedita University. The labs are amazing, the rooms, even the chairs and tables are great too. The elevator facility is also there and it is great. We have seminar halls. We have a great and spacious library, canteen, and café. In addition, spacious campus ground with basketball court.

Campus life is the best part of this university. There are places for sitting. Trees and plants are also there, along with so many beautiful flowers. Hence, the aesthetics are on point. We have many events now and then. Saraswati Puja celebrations are great and we have sports events too. There are dance events and various miscellaneous events. In the campus, you will find people gossiping in-group, laughing; playing guitar, someone dancing, and this is the best part.
