All About KIIT

Overall Rating
My experience in this institute until now has been fair. There are things you want to have in an institute, which you want to grow as person. If you can utilize facilities provided to the fullest, you will surely love it. Therefore, you can grow as person, as a student and as an overall personality.
 

Academics Rating
KIIT provides very vast amount of programs to peruse your degree here. As I am in B.Tech CSE student, it also has many sub branches including all the specialized in CSE branch Such Cyber Security, Data Science, AI, etc. All you need is minimum 70% marks in all subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry for B.Tech in your 12th board exams.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very friendly with students. They will provide you with all the material and help as much as possible. They will give you their time if you have any doubts. Their style of teaching is also good to be understood by the Institute students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a training and placement cell in this institute, which is responsible for good and smooth placement process of the students. They try their best to place you but you also have to do the equal hard work for your placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are decent. The old hostels are ok but the new hostels, which are built recently, are very good. In addition, the food is also good. All the facilities are available in hostels. There are 3 types of room’s available ac, non-AC and premium means rooms with attached washroom.
 

Infrastructure Rating
KIIT infrastructure is very good. There is greenery all around. The entire infrastructure is built in a unique way. There are some specific places where you can visit with your friends like rose garden, sculpture gardened, etc. In addition, academic blocks are designed with good features. Architecture building is most beautiful academic block you will see in this institute. In addition, gym and sports facilities are available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is very vibrant here in KIIT. There are various coding clubs along with other clubs to enhance your skills. Fests are organized every year for the students in which superstar singers come to perform in a concert.

    Overall Rating
    I chose KIIT for many reasons and some of them are good infrastructure and rich coding culture. Here the environment is good and also the facilities are good. Campus is big green and there are many sports facilities and most faculties are good and we can share our problems with our mentors here and here overall experience is good.     KIIT is one of the private institutes you can consider if you don't get IITs, NITs, IIITs or any State Government Institute. Main reason for choosing this institute was affordability, the location, and also facilities. Also, there is such a good environment here for living in a very pleasant weather. Its tuition fee is high, but the hostel and mess fee are quite low. Tuition fees are Rs. 2 lakhs per semester for CSE branch and for others it is Rs. 1.75 lakhs to Rs. 1.9 lakhs.     The college life in KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar is one of the best college. Events are held pretty often. The entire University has greenery everywhere. Although the mess and hostel fee is pretty less as compared to other private college’s fee but the food in the mess is not so good at times.
