NIT Rourkela is Best of All NIT’s

Overall Rating
This institute is best in all NIT’s. It has 3rd rank in all NIT’s. This institute provides you all courses with the separate department and it's is also famous for Computer Science Engineering so I have chosen Computer Science Engineering in this institute. You have to give JEE to join this institute and it requires more than 90+ percentile to enroll.
 

Academics Rating
In NIT Rourkela you get 30+ courses to chose from and you can also enroll here for M.Tech, Ph.D and MBA courses also. To enroll in this institute you have to give JEE Mains and foreign students can give DASA exam to enroll. You have to pass 10th and 12th with more than 75%. There are best courses available here in EE, CSE and mining.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are well qualified and they have also done there course from big institutes like IIT and NITs. They are well experienced professors. Many of professors have achieved many awards in research sector and they are very helpful when we ask something or have to do some research. The teaching method is also good. They teach us through smart classes and also provide notes.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our institute has placement cell and a big community of that is handled by some professors and top students. They help every student at the time of internship and placement drives. They arrange proper meeting and trainings for the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. There are total 7 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. The infrastructure of the hostels is good because they paint and repair hostels in every 3 years. If some hostel rooms have issue with electricity or fan is not working, then we can complaint easily so it gets resolved in two days or one day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very good and big. It has separate buildings for different departments. It's has a library which is very big and also it has sports complex and 3 major grounds which are used for organising different sports activities and other events. Many canteens are also available here.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very good and fests are organised in every 2 months and not small it has big fests like Nitritsuv, Cosmo, etc. NIT Rourkela has many clubs, more than 35+ so the students can choose according to their choices. It arranges the sports fest, hostel fest, cultural fest, and many other fests. The overall experience in NIT Rourkela is very good. It has everything you need in an institute.

    After JEE Mains, I was searching for colleges with good rankings, decent placement statistics, and a good enjoyable campus life. NIT Rourkela has all of that. It provides good education and infrastructure and also conducts 4-5 fests in an academic year. The hostels are also pretty decent. The academics are also pretty good.     My college NIT Rourkela is the best college around the region. This is contributed due to its NIRF rank and level of education. While in college, I feel that this is a place where we can enjoy our best college life while managing our academics as well. It’s been a long time since I joined this college and till now did not have felt that my decision was not worth it.     I am a student at National Institute of Technology Rourkela got selected in JEE main, and currently pursuing B.Tech in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering. I prefer this college due to high research opportunity high skill development activity and sports facility.
