Life at Christian Medical College

Overall Rating
Christian Medical College is a well renowned college for its spectacular teaching and its infrastructure. It is a tertiary hospital which provides treatment to almost every problem in the world with top class doctors. The faculties here are so wonderful and so cooperative with the students. A batch has around 100 students and each group of 10 students will be divided for clinical postings.
 

Academics Rating
Christian Medical College provides various courses to the upcoming students including Bachelorette of Medical Science, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing too. For MBBS the entry is through NEET, but for others there will be exams conducted for them. 50 percent of seats are given for people from church sponsorship and the rest 50 to open quota of which 10 seats will be for CMC staff members.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are the best in the world. They got many awards for discovering many diseases, drugs and many more. The faculties live in the college, in the houses the college provides and they will be available at any time for any doubts or for a normal chat.
 

Placement Rating
The interns here will receive around 35000 per month and once they finish the internship, they will have to undergo two years bond for which they will send us to secondary health care center all over India. Once we finish that, the college has separate reservations for the alumni for PG.
 

Hostel Rating
We have one of the best hostels in the whole country in my point of view. The infrastructure is old but that gives a pleasant vintage vibe to the rooms which is completely different from the vintage looks. Every year fresher man gets to share a room with a colleague but from second year they will get a single room which will be big enough. The mess food here is so good that we tend to forget about home foods and hotel food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus was built in 1900s by Dr. Ida Scudder, she built one of the best colleges in India. The campus and the hospital are two separate buildings located a bit far from each other, but they have separate buildings for each department. The college is so huge with a lot of houses for doctors and play fields. We got canteen and a separate store just for students and staff which got everything we need from papers to groceries, etc. We got two libraries, one in campus and one in hospital.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus is so colorful and peaceful at the same time. Our college has a separate bunch of fests which happen throughout the year which will be so fun, where the faculties and every other doctor get together and do some dance or music.
