Excellent faculties and facilities of SGSITS

Overall Rating
SGSITS is a State Government Institute in Madhya Pradesh with 72 years of legacy. It has a lush green campus near the railway station and includes necessary facilities like labs, hostel, library, sports ground, cafe, canteen, gym and various kinds of clubs.
 

Academics Rating
Students get admission in B.Tech at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science through MP DTE counseling and on the basis of their JEE Main score. The Institute has many other courses including M.Tech, MBA, MCA and B.Pharm. Apart from that, Polytechnic students can also get admission in B.Tech though lateral entry in the second year.
 

Faculty Rating
The Institute has good faculty members who are qualified and have a great personality due to them being very helpful towards every student. Each faculty has a different teaching style but all of them make sure to clear our doubts, even after the classes. The HOD of our department has a pleasant energy around him as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our Institute has a Placement Cell and students get placed in their final year. Many good companies visit our Institute for recruitment. Apart from this, our Entrepreneurship Cell (e-cell) motivates and helps students related to startups.
 

Hostel Rating
We have hostel facilities and a mess. There are 3 boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institute has a main building and every department has its own academic block in the campus. We have a parking area where students and faculties park their vehicles, a temple, auditorium, park, cafe and a gym facility.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs in our Institute so, we organise events and fests all year round. Clubs like NCC, NSS are pretty active in the institute and the campus is nearby Indore Junction. There are many visiting places near the Institute for students to enjoy their college life and explore.

    SGSITS is one of the top engineering Institutes in Madhya Pradesh.     I attended my first class on 19 September 2024. The professors are very good in both knowledge and other support. Also institute is also very study oriented and other co curricular activities are also organised here.     Overall Rating
    I experienced a great vibe while entering in this institute, with a lush green 35 acre campus and a good Infrastructure. The staff is supportive here and also you get good placement opportunities because of a good alumni and an excellent training and placement cell. If one wishes to excel in his/her career then SGSITS Indore is definitely one of the best places to start a journey. Also you get the advantage of residing in city centre.... Read Full Review
