My Honest Experience About MITS, Gwalior

Overall Rating
My overall review at MITS, Gwalior is very good. I have spent nearly two months at MITS, Gwalior. My midsem is going on currently. I would say to my fellow juniors that you can take admission here as facilities are good here. It’s a lush green campus.
 

Academics Rating
First of all in MITS, Gwalior there is no need of 75% in class 12th board examination. There's a mandatory rule of 75% attendance criteria if you don't keep seventy five percent attendances then you cannot sit in examination but if you have valid reason for absent then you can be allowed by applying mandatory documents.
 

Faculty Rating
In my first two month experience I can proudly say that faculty of my institute is very well educated and highly qualified and mostly all the professors have doctoral degree (Ph.D) in their fields from well known institutes like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), National Institute of Technology (NIT) and more.
 

Placement Rating
If you really worked on your skills surely you can get good placement opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
My Institute MITS, Gwalior is in my home town so I did not take hostel. But I have seen the hostels and they are good. The facilities available there for the students are also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
According to me infrastructure of MITS, Gwalior is best among other engineering institutes of Madhya Pradesh. Infrastructure of MITS (DU) is new and well furnished. Some classes have air conditioners and projectors are also available in every class.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is decent but not as good as national level institute like IIT and NIT. But it's situated in the center of Gwalior city nearly 2 km from railway station. Institute campus is lush green. You can spend some time with your friends by sitting in institute garden. The campus is nearly approx. 40 acre.

    Overall experience at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is good because the course curriculum is little relaxed for students, so they can prepare for government exams very well with institute studies.     Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is 2nd best institute of Gwalior which became a deemed university in 2024. If you are from Gwalior or nearby Gwalior, it's okay to take admission here. It is better than any other private institute. I am in 2nd year and I never saw ragging in this institute. Teachers are friendly and even food from canteen is also good.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    The overall Institute experience is good. The infrastructure is good. It has both old buildings and a new AI block which is really good. There's not much of a campus life as the campus is not really big and also they don't allow students inside the Institute after 6:00 PM so there's no nightlife. I chose this Institute essentially because this was in my state and I was getting a scholarship.
