Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science is a well known institute of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1952. My personal experience till now with the institute and the faculty is very good. The institute's curriculum is very good as they make us industry ready. The campus here is around 35 acres which is sufficient for any institute because it makes student's accessibility more convenient.

The institute provides various courses like B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, etc. I'm currently enrolled in the B.Tech program by taking Computer Science as my department of study. As my personal experience the academic facility provided by the institute is remarkable. The academics follow a strict plan which is introduced in the starting of the session. They have regular test, quiz and mid semester exams. They ensure that the student should know everything about the subject in depth.

The faculty of the institute is very supporting. After every class, teacher asks about any sort of doubt any student have or not. They have regular mentor mentee meetings where any student can talk about their problem to its mentor and then mentor will take action regarding the problem (without revealing the name of student). The faculty is very friendly. They come from different background / experience like there are some teachers which have degrees like M.Tech and Ph.D from IITs. Some Teachers have more then 18-20 years of experience of teaching.

Yes, our institute has its own Training and Placement cell (T&P Cell). The Training and Placement cell helps students for their interviews and company interactions.

Since the building is very old so the hostels are not too good but they are acceptable according to its fees. The life of hostel is remarkable; the moments we have enjoyed here cannot be described in words. The hostel wardens and guards are very helpful / cooperating.

The campus buildings are very old but the institute has made same new buildings as well like lecture theatre and academics training center. The campus has administrative block, student enquiry section, and central library. It also has separate buildings for each department. There are water coolers in every department. The campus also has different grounds for different sports.

The Campus life is great here for hostellers as well as day scholar because the campus is situated in main city Indore in front of railway station. This makes the availability of transportation great as well as it is near to mall, bus station, parks, etc. The institute has various clubs like Kshitij (for music, dance, and drama), Ojaswa (for personality development), Alumni Student Club (for interaction between students and alumni), etc. In our institute, countless number of events / fests is organised. The cultural fest AAYAM is major spotlight holder. In AAYAM every club / student takes participation which makes it more fun and enjoyable.
