World-class infrastructure of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
An Institute of national importance, MANIT, Bhopal is one of the most prestigious institutes of India. It has a lush green campus of 650 acres and the infrastructure is good. The new departments and hostels for the students are under construction.
 

Academics Rating
I got admission in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology through JOSAA counselling. ECE has one of the best branches and the department is also in the main building of the institute. It has many labs, including a 5G lab which has been set up recently. Experienced and qualified faculty members are here who are very supportive as well.
 

Faculty Rating
The institute has well-qualified and experienced faculty members, who not only teach us but also help us with our personal problems. Good projects and assignments are given frequently by them which keep the students engaged. The labs have good lab assistants who help us in lab works and the classrooms have projectors where professors take comprehensive lectures through presentations.
 

Placement Rating
The placements at MANIT are really good. In Electronic And Communication Engineering, more than 80% students got placed this year. Average package of ECE department was 15-16 LPA. It also has a Placement Cell of its own. The highest package was 82 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels at MANIT are also great. At present, there are 12 hostels (10 for boys + 2 for girls). The rooms are spacious and cleanliness is well-maintained but the mess food is average. The girls’ hostel is slightly better as it even includes an elevator facility. It has washing machines, night canteen and Wi-Fi is also accessible, although the connectivity might be a problem. So, just find yourself good friends here and enjoy your hostel life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is sprawled in an area of 650 acre. It has good infrastructure which includes teaching blocks, different departmental buildings, academic blocks and a students’ activity centre. There is a large sports complex, and new buildings are under construction to accommodate more students. Hostels have LAN, Wi-Fi and a smart library.
 

Campus Rating
MANIT has lush green campus where peacocks can be seen and the best time to explore the campus is during rainy season which makes the campus even greener. Sports complex is also well-equipped with a good gym and sports instruments.

  • Starting a new journey at MANIT

    I got admission in MANIT, Bhopal through CSAB special round (2024). I was happy because I am from Kanpur, UP and Bhopal is near compared to other cities so, it is easy to travel. I visited the campus with my family for the admission process and we were pleasantly surprised by the large and lush green campus, made on a plateau.
