Overall Rating
The institute is fantastic in terms of placement even in recession. It has a strong and excellent alumni network which makes it easier to get internship opportunities. some of great brains come to this institute which makes it more competitive, resulting in a better self-growth and due to this it's a very good institute.
 

Academics Rating
The courses that provided here include B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma and PhD. The entry requirements for B.Tech is a above 96 percentile score (General Category) in MHT-CET and more than 99 percentile for top branches like Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculties are excellent while some are average in style of teaching but all are highly educated with PhDs from IITs. Faculties here are extremely punctual about their work also some are very good at their subject.
 

Placement Rating
VJTI has a wonderful and hardworking placement cell which constantly works for students’ employment.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute has hostel in campus but it's not as big to hold all the students so only about 40-50% can get a hostel. It is renovating as old hostel had poor infrastructure. However, recreation activities are good here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is not as good because the institute has turned 100 years old this year. Nonetheless, its renovation is under-progress. Campus has been changed but things still need some renovation. The campus is filled with lush green trees and has small gardens.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good. Clubs include Society of Robotics and Automation, Racing, Aero, Vishwa and many more. there are many committees like Pratibimb, Technovanza, Rangwardhan, Enthusia, etc. which organize hackathons, cultural fests, tech fest, sports fest, Guest lectures, etc. VJTI has some other committees like Dialects, Literally, Arts, Committee, etc.

    Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is one of the oldest engineering institutes in India. This makes it an institute with great infrastructure and high reputation. I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication from this institute. Why I chose this institute, the reason is its placements and prime location.     The VJTI is very prestigious Institute in Maharashtra which is known for its placements and Institute life. To get into this Institute you have to score a lot of percentile in MHT CET exam. I got 99.26 percentile So, I decided to go to top Institute of Maharashtra and it is located in Mumbai which is main city of our nation.     As I am an average student, I couldn't pass my JEE main and through CET I got my admission here. Talking about overall review, this college is worth it. In terms of campus placement, fests, communities, clubs, sports facilities, etc. I chose this college over other colleges as it is very famous college in Maharashtra state and very suitable for a small village boy to go there.     VJTI is a great State Engineering institute in Maharashtra. It has 16 acres of campus located in the heart of Mumbai, in Matunga. The factors which made me choose this institute was a suggestion given by seniors. The placement here at VJTI is above par and the peer group is also good.
