Overall Rating
The institute is fantastic in terms of placement even in recession. It has a strong and excellent alumni network which makes it easier to get internship opportunities. some of great brains come to this institute which makes it more competitive, resulting in a better self-growth and due to this it's a very good institute.
 

Academics Rating
The courses that provided here include B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma and PhD. The entry requirements for B.Tech is a above 96 percentile score (General Category) in MHT-CET and more than 99 percentile for top branches like Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculties are excellent while some are average in style of teaching but all are highly educated with PhDs from IITs. Faculties here are extremely punctual about their work also some are very good at their subject.
 

Placement Rating
VJTI has a wonderful and hardworking placement cell which constantly works for students’ employment.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute has hostel in campus but it's not as big to hold all the students so only about 40-50% can get a hostel. It is renovating as old hostel had poor infrastructure. However, recreation activities are good here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is not as good because the institute has turned 100 years old this year. Nonetheless, its renovation is under-progress. Campus has been changed but things still need some renovation. The campus is filled with lush green trees and has small gardens.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good. Clubs include Society of Robotics and Automation, Racing, Aero, Vishwa and many more. there are many committees like Pratibimb, Technovanza, Rangwardhan, Enthusia, etc. which organize hackathons, cultural fests, tech fest, sports fest, Guest lectures, etc. VJTI has some other committees like Dialects, Literally, Arts, Committee, etc.

    Overall Rating
    VJTI is one of the best Engineering institutes in Maharashtra. Many great minds come here so peer exposure is quite great. Being located in Mumbai, it becomes a core attraction for companies. I chose VJTI because at my percentile this was the only reasonable option I had, and secondly I didn't have any kind of inclination towards any branch so I chose Textile Technology at VJTI....     VJTI is a great institute so if you are getting admission in it, I suggest to not to miss a chance. Although getting admission in VJTI is tough but you will definitely get reward for hard work you had done to get into VJTI.     People often draw comparison of VJTI with Somaiya, DJ Sanghvi and others. One should also look at the fees that VJTI commands and these two or other private colleges for that matter commands. Institute lacks in infrastructure but in terms of studies and sports the institute is as I have mentioned in my title “is the best”.... Read Full Review

  • VJTI is no less than a treasure hunt.
     

    Overall Rating
    Expectations are always high when you accept top ranked CET rankers. I was in top 1,000 and had plenty of choices. However, since I am from Ghatkopar, Somaiya Vidya Vihar and VJTI were the 2 best possible choices for me. The former charges a bomb while at VJTI l. I pay just 85,000 a year. Yes, facility wise we are far behind them but on placements front we have our noses ahead.... Read Full Review

    In engineering colleges that are various factors that holds a lot of significance. I had high expectation and VJTI has more or less lived up to it. First and foremost the students that enter VJTI are hardworking and determined. I had prepared for the entrances at least 2 hours daily for 2 years and it was that effort that took me to this college.
