A Honest Review on KIIT, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
I'm an engineering student of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and today I'm going to provide you real and unfiltered review for this institute. From hostel to library, messes to food court, fest and exams, I will cover everything. So let's discover how this institute is and one should come or not.
 

Academics Rating
This institute provides various branches in engineering such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and more. For admission you have to qualify the KIITEE examination and according to your rank and preferences you get the branch. If you are scoring above 70-75 percentiles then you can get CSE.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty and teachers are good and highly qualified. Many of them have done Ph.D and have a great teaching experience. They are always ready to guide and help you. Mostly English is used for teaching but for clear explanation they do sometimes explain in Hindi as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell at our institute. It does help the students. Placement training classes are also organised by the institute for the students of 4th semester.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good and well maintained. Mostly you get 3 bedded rooms or you can opt for premium hostel which provides 2 bedded rooms with attached washrooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the institute is very good. High buildings and blocks are made for convenience. They have proper facilities like water supply, lift, etc. You will get green environment and fresh air. Its central library is very beautiful and even there are departmental libraries like for CSE students.
 

Campus Rating
Overall our campus is very beautiful and eye-catching. There are many societies and clubs to take part in like dance, music, tech societies, food and cooking, etc. Fest usually happens in January-February for 3 days and it's so good. It will be the best part of your college life.

    I chose KIIT for many reasons and some of them are good infrastructure and rich coding culture. Here the environment is good and also the facilities are good. Campus is big green and there are many sports facilities and most faculties are good and we can share our problems with our mentors here and here overall experience is good.     KIIT is one of the private institutes you can consider if you don't get IITs, NITs, IIITs or any State Government Institute. Main reason for choosing this institute was affordability, the location, and also facilities. Also, there is such a good environment here for living in a very pleasant weather. Its tuition fee is high, but the hostel and mess fee are quite low. Tuition fees are Rs. 2 lakhs per semester for CSE branch and for others it is Rs. 1.75 lakhs to Rs. 1.9 lakhs.     The college life in KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar is one of the best college. Events are held pretty often. The entire University has greenery everywhere. Although the mess and hostel fee is pretty less as compared to other private college’s fee but the food in the mess is not so good at times.
