A Comprehensive Review on VIT Bhopal University

Overall Rating
According to my experiences, the infrastructure is good. Campus life is average not that great as IIT's. One great thing in this university is that the entire faculty is Ph.D holders and highly experienced, mostly from IIT's. This is the one and only university to have Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) this helps the students to perform better in their academics.
 

Academics Rating
The quality of study is good not as normal universities. VIT Bhopal University follows fully flexible credit system for the benefit of students. FFCS offers total freedom for the students to customize their course, depending on their interests. The college provides ample opportunities to do inter-disciplinary courses. There is branch change option in B.Tech at the end of first year.
 

Faculty Rating
Here all the faculties are Ph.D holders and highly experienced. The classrooms are designed in a way that it is easy to interact with the teachers. The course which is taught is also updated. All teachers are good enough.
 

Placement Rating
In VIT Bhopal University there is a placement and training cell called as PAT office. They give sufficient guidance to students on their career paths from first year. The deputy director Dr. R. Shriram of placement and training supports students in cracking their dream offers.
 

Hostel Rating
The residential facilities are good. There are many rooms that are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 bedded. AC and Non-AC rooms are available here. The mess food is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
VIT Bhopal University has a vibrant campus with greenery. The main thing is there is no pollution at all in the campus. There is dedicated shed with footpath from hostels to academics blocks which helps the student. There are proper lab facilities for research scholars. The campus has 3 kinds of auditoriums: Open air auditorium, and 2 more in the academic block.
 

Campus Rating
I would say that campus life is not that bad. Every year 2 major fests are organised in the university. These are technical and non technical fest. You can see diversity in the campus; there are students from all over the India. There are almost 70 clubs and each student should at least register in one club. Sports Event is also conducted every year.

    Overall VIT Bhopal University is a pretty good university, as I can say from my past 1.5 years of experience here. The campus here is pretty massive, it has a lush green beauty, different academic buildings for each department, 2 Academic blocks, 1 Lab complex, 1 Architecture building, and a Multi Purpose Hall. University also provides with hostel facilities, and is located within campus itself. It has various sports facilities, and undoubtedly I can say that it is better than other private univ...     The university campus is very busy from Monday to Friday where you see students coming and going to classes and hostels. Day Scholars come from Monday to Friday and are not allowed to come on weekends unless they have class or any special event after getting permission from their respective authority....   • VIT Bhopal CSE branch is crowded

    This university is pretty decent. It doesn’t have much of a college life if you are a hosteller but its pretty fun to be here with other students. We have 2 canteens here, which at first you will like it but when it becomes the only option for food you will dislike it. The university is still under construction but it is happening pretty fast. The curriculum is good. Some teachers are great while others are not. Try not to skip your FFCS (fully flexible credit system).... Read Full Review
