Overall Rating
Vimal Jyothi Engineering College is a good college among other engineering colleges in Kerala It is also an autonomous college. It provides quality education and good placements. Peaceful atmosphere with rich of natural beauty can be enjoyed in my college.
 

Academics Rating
To take admission at Vimal Jyothi, student must pass the Engineering Entrance Exam of Kerala called ‘KEAM’ with a rank around 40000 to get allotment in this college. Admission process is very simple and easy. College authorities will help students to complete admission process. Authorities will also help students to choose branches.
 

Faculty Rating
One of the core features of my college is excellent and high qualified teachers. Their behavior is very friendly. The Student-Teacher bond is very strong in my college. Every faculty will give notes at correct time that is very helpful for students to study as early from exam starts.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, my college have good active placement cell. It is very active and invites companies to our college. As an autonomous college, college should be providing minimum 50 percentage campus placement. However our college is providing about 60 to 65 percentage placement for students. Average salary is 4.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college has both boy’s and girl's hostel facilities. First year and second year boys stay together in one hostel and third year and fourth year boys stay are together in another hostel. Girl's hostel pattern is also in same mentioned above. One room has 4 members. Each member has separate bed and study table. Hostel is surrounded by securities and CCTV camera on 24×7 hours.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My college has good infrastructure with strong foundation in about 10 or 16 acres of land. Buildings are very excellent. They about 4 to 5 floor each. Every department has separate block and have corresponding lab facilities are in every block. Big library with thousands of valuable books is there.
 

Campus Rating
Amazing campus life is enjoyed by each and every student in our college with friendly teachers and other non-teaching staff. College is conducting Tech fest every year and it one of the best days for students. Sports and Art fest are also conducting in every year. Other student societies like NSS are also in my college.

  • My Life in VJEC, Kannur
     

    Overall Rating
    VJEC provides good quality education. We have anti ragging campus which promotes equality on the bases of gender caste and religion and there is no politics inside campus. Facilities like filtered water, canteens, proper sanitations, printing shops and hostels are inside the campus itself. It also provides scholarships to the students.     My experience at VJEM, Kannur has been quite good. I chose this college primarily for its reputation in Engineering and Business Studies. The college has a specialized cell for placements. The college has a good bond with many known companies that visit the campus during on-campus placements. For Engineering in Malabar region, this college is the best choice.
