Supportive environment at Ewing Christian College, Allahabad

Overall Rating
The college is an Autonomous educational institute that is affiliated to the Allahabad University. It is the best college among all the affiliated colleges of Prayagraj. The fee is quite high as compared to other colleges, but facilities and the infrastructure is also better as compared to others. Also, it follows the Semester system of examination while others follow an annual examination pattern; that is why I chose ECC, Allahabad.
 

Academics Rating
There are various specialisations offered in the B.A Department such as English, History, Philosophy, Geography, etc. The entry requirements are 10+2 pass, and the student qualifying CUET exam is also eligible. The college offers direct admission to the students and there is no Reservation Seats here. If you want to prepare for government exams, you can consider taking admission at ECC, Allahabad since attendance is not mandatory here.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties are highly qualified, and some have done Ph.D while others have qualified NET JRF, but their teaching style is conventional, and they rely on textbooks. Most of the faculty members are helpful in nature and there are separate teachers assigned for mentorship to every student with whom students can discuss their problems.
 

Placement Rating
There are no placements provided by the college.
 

Hostel Rating
There no hostels available for the students in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are various subjects offered here, and different buildings are available for each subject. Some departments have a decent infrastructure while other lacks certain facilities. Most of the infrastructure is of post-independence time. Sports infrastructure of the college is quite decent but still needs improvement.
 

Campus Rating
The seniors are cooperative from the beginning and the other students’ behavior is also good. Majority of students are from different cities, so we receive great exposure while studying here. There are other sports and extracurricular activities available in the college like basketball, cricket, football, handball, etc. which helps students to grow. There are no clubs in the college. Various fests like Literature Festival and other festivals are conducted regularly in the college.
