Good academic exposure at BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, Kolkata

Overall Rating
The campus is not so big. Computers are available for each student to utilise for academic purposes. For BCA, the fee is lesser as compared to the other institutes and that is why I chose this institute. Aspirants who are looking forward to pursuing BCA at an affordable fee can go for the institute.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission, students just need to appear in the CET exam. There is no cut off marks criteria required for admission. Students who want to get into Technology or Programming but aren't from a Science background can opt for BCA from this institute. The admission process is also simple. Just appear in the CET exam then visit the institute for completing the further admission process.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of this institute are knowledgeable and highly qualified. Their teaching style is good. Infrastructures that are required for teaching are also available in the classrooms. Faculty members are cooperative as well. Students can complete their research and projects under the guidance of the faculty members. Best thing about the professors is that they do not discriminate among the students.
 

Placement Rating
Our institute gives average placement opportunities to the students. Only 20 to 30 percent students are placed in the BPO jobs. In my opinion, it should improve its placement services.
 

Hostel Rating
No, our institute does not have any residential facilities for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have two campuses. The campus that offers BCA is not that big. The class is of 90 students. The labs contain enough computers for every student. The library also has all the course related books and journals. Students do not need to buy books from outside. All the books can be issued from the library. The classrooms are also well maintained and clean.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life of our institute is average, and the campus is not that crowded. Fests are not conducted so often. The Freshers party is conducted in September. Fests if conducted are held in March or April. Sports contests are conducted in every 2 to 3 months interval.

    I took admission in this institute last year through WEBJEE counseling. The institute is suitable for me because it is close from my home. I recommended the students who want to pursue Engineering degree in this institute. There are 4 branches available here in that institute CSE, EE, IT and ECE. The institute is very beautiful.... I recommended BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology to the people who want to pursue the Engineering degree.
