My experience at Renaissance University, Indore

Overall Rating
Life at Renaissance is good but the crowd is average. This is a good choice for those students looking for an affordable education. I have chosen this university by researching about it online.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing BCA for which the eligibility criteria are that the student should be12th pass with a registered board from any field. They have a low fee structure of Rs. 20,000/- per semester, Rs. 40,000/- per year, and for full 3-year program the student has to pay Rs. 1,20,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very kind, educated and supportive to the students. Some teachers use conventional methods of teaching whereas some give excellent lectures.
 

Placement Rating
They have tie-ups with big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, etc. Last year in the BCA program they managed to place around 5-10 students. They should provide more placement opportunities to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
I haven't been to hostel, but I have heard that it has small rooms with quite old infrastructure and the mess food is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university has an old pattern infrastructure, but they are enhancing the infrastructure from time to time and are trying to provide a good infrastructure for the upcoming students. They have separate blocks for separate courses and as of amenities; they have a large canteen as well as a Nescafe Cafe and a fast-food centre.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is generally not so interesting. They manage to conduct fests and events like Sportszilla, Indradhanush, etc. wherein the ambassadors give bumper prizes to the students. Last year, the winners were sent for a Dubai trip free of cost. They organise a big event called Indradhanush, which is a cultural event, and they also have Sports Event known as Sportszilla.

    Overall Rating
    The college is providing you with the Bachelor of Computer Applications course at a very low fee. The subject of maths is mandatory for this course, but you can get admission without mathematics in this college. It is not much far away from the main city so one can easily reach here and the environment of the college is very good.... Read Full Review
