My experience at Gandhi Institute Of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
GIET university is the best university in Odisha. I chose to study in this university because its fee structure is in my budget, infrastructure is beautiful, and the education provided is excellent. The university has a beautiful infrastructure with world class facilities and all the classes are air-conditioned. It also gives 100% placement guarantee to the students. I chose to enroll in B.Tech (CSE) course since it is a trending interest, and the university provides good placement opportunities to the students of this particular branch.
 

Academics Rating
The institute has an excellent course curriculum that is relevant to the current industry trends. It offers almost all the courses like B.Tech, B.Sc Agriculture, BCA, BBA, MBA, M.Tech, etc. For admission, you are required to pass the entrance exam conducted the university itself or other exams like JEE, OJEE, etc. Other eligibility criterion is that you must be 10+2 pass.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty members are highly educated and qualified from different IITs, NITs, etc. Their teaching style is also good, and they have completed their Ph.D. Their teaching style is good and they use modern technologies for providing effective learning experience to the students. All lab classes are conducted as per the schedule and real time questions are given to us.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the university has the provision of facilitating good placement opportunities to the students. Pre-placement activities are conducted by the Training Cell to prepare the students for future job opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Both boys’ and girls’ hostels are available with adequate furnishing and good facilities. Mess food is decent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the university really beautiful and I have a great time studying here. All the facilities are available in the campus premises and all the blocks have a fresh environment. All exams are held in the classroom only. Hostel facility is good. Medical facilities are also available in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent, and the campus is not much crowded. There are many active clubs here like Coding Club for coding preparation, NSS Club, Web Development Club that conducts Hackathons for improving the student’ skills. Fests are also held in end of December wherein the university invites popular celebrities to perform.
