My experience in the college was overall good. What made me choose this college was first of all it was a girls’ college; hence I preferred it over others. The college is situated in one of the well-developed cities of Madhya Pradesh i.e. Bhopal. The college has good canteen facility, and the food made in canteen is also good and hygienic. College campus has a badminton court, volleyball court and other sports facilities.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) is a three-year course. I have done B.Sc with Mathematics. The subjects I studied were English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. This three-year B.Sc course prepares the students to avail many opportunities in the life ahead. The documents required during admission are Aadhaar card, 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Samagra id, Domicile Certificate, Passport Size Photos, etc. For admission, student must have passed 12th standard with the percentage in range of the college requirement.

Faculty members in Sant Hirdaram College Bhopal were very supportive and well educated. Faculties always motivated the students to achieve their goals and hence motivated and supported students during their exams. I personally liked Mrs. Jyoti ma'am and Mrs. Ashlekha ma'am as their teaching styles were also in a manner that below average students also understood the concepts. The teaching methods of faculties are on a chalk and board method.

The college also provides hostel facilities, but I can't add much information as I wasn’t a hosteller.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college campus has a well-maintained garden. The college offers various facilities like library, sport facilities, canteen, etc. Well maintained classrooms, computers lab, practical labs, gymnasium, offices, etc. are also present. My overall experience studying here was that the college infrastructure and amenities are ample for the growth of the students.

Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College is situated in Sant Hirdaram Nagar, and is one of the best colleges for girls in Bhopal. The overall campus life at SHGC is very good. The college organises various cultural events like Saankethika, Intra Collegiate Youth Festival, etc. It celebrates various national days like World Population Day, Yoga Day, Women’s Day, Guru Poornima, Republic Day, World Diabetes Day, etc. with great enthusiasm.
