VIT-AP University : A Good Place to Learn and Grow

Overall Rating
VIT-AP University is a growing institute that has a balance of academic rigor as well as a lot of co-curricular and extracurricular experiences. It has a reputation for innovative programs as well as letting students venture in their fields of interest along with engineering. The atmosphere here is competitive as well as collaborative and peers and faculty are quite supportive. The infrastructure is under construction and it is quite congested so that's a minus point but overall a decent place to study.
 

Academics Rating
I am in B.Tech in Computer Science. The curriculum is well- structured to include both theoretical and practical components. Entry requirements are rigorous but fair, with a strong emphasis on aptitude and performance in Science and Mathematics. The skill set that we are encouraged to develop is immediately applicable in the industry, especially with the hands-on lab work, internship opportunities and real - world projects. The electives are flexible that allow us to expand our areas of knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is both knowledgeable and approachable. Many of the professors are highly experienced and have a touch of practicality and reliability in their teaching style. Professors encourage questions and are a delight for an interactive class. Though some faculties might not be as great at times, they are still open to constructive criticism.
 

Placement Rating
There is a dedicated placement cell at VIT-AP University, and it plays a vital role with a lot of internship and job opportunities directed towards us. The university often partners up with coding platforms and other platforms that will help the students develop the required skill set for the industries.
 

Hostel Rating
Some of the hostels are still under construction and can be difficult to live in due to unending noise during construction. The mess food is acceptable, generally depends on which hostel you stay in as different hostels have different caterers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is modern and designed to create a conductive learning environment but half of the university is under construction and will remain so for the next couple of years with expansion and construction of library and hostels as well as different academic blocks. There are different facilities like computer labs, engineering clinics lab, conference rooms and auditorium in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at VIT-AP is vibrant and full of opportunities to learn for personal growth and networking. The student clubs are diverse, covering everything from coding, robotics, and photography to dance and drama, so there's something for everyone. The university organizes various events and fests. The crowd is inclusive and friendly, with students from various backgrounds, which adds to the diversity of the experience.

    The education here is really good and competes with other top tier colleges. Computer Science is a really good option to choose this college for. There are multiple opportunities related to computer science. Studies are very good and the courses offered are also flexible.     Overall Rating
    This is a good University with decent placement. Overall facilities include lab facilities, library, etc. The library is open from 9 am till 7:30 pm. One semester is divided into 3 exams. The average package of the college is 8 LPA.... Read Full Review

    This university is a very nice. Its overall ranking is 12th, indicating the quality of the academics and facilities. It has four campuses all over the country, Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. I chose this campus because this branch of the university provides the Computer Science stream which is absent in the Chennai branch.... Read Full Review
