IIIT Vadodara is a good option for students who achieve percentile about 98 in their JEE Mains. The faculty here has excellent educational backgrounds and is a great help to students. This institute's campus is under construction and the classes are being held in GEC, Gandhinagar temporarily. The institute focuses on computer based courses, i.e. CSE and IT. The environment for coding is really great here. There is no ragging in this institute so freshers would have no problem related to ragging.

I got 98 percentile in my JEE and my preference was IIIT Vadodara. I personally wanted Computer Science. I also had a senior whom I knew from this institute. I got to know from him that this institute would be a great option for Computer Science. The coding environment is really good and the faculty is really a great help. Students help create a great coding culture. There are also technical fests that amuse us. Seniors are really good here. They help their juniors and give good guidance.

The teachers here have very great educational backgrounds. They are very much refined in their fields and hold great amount of knowledge. They are ever ready to share their knowledge with students and have a great teaching approach. They allot students some time in order to clarify their doubts and also invite them to have a discussion on a topic related to the course. They also encourage student's innovation and push them to create things.

There is a separate cell for placement in the campus. Here, the students are well trained for their final year placements and there are many pre-placement events that take place before applying for the placements. The students are trained to become industry ready in order to crack placements well.

We have a hostel which is located about 6.5 kilometers from the campus. The hostel is placed near IIT Gandhinagar and hostel provides a very peaceful living environment to the students. It has a mess attached in the ground floor. The hostel rooms are maintained well by the maintenance staff and rooms are cleaned every two days. There is a volley ball court outside the hostel and a gym provided inside the hostel premises.

There is no permanent campus of this institute as of now. The campus is temporarily running at GEC, Gandhinagar, and block 9. The campus is spacious enough to hold all children and the classrooms have a capacity of 120 students at once. Every classroom has a smart screen attached and two white boards for teaching. The labs are well equipped with all necessary equipment and are maintained well. The campus is clean and hygienic. The institute is well structured and well segregated. There is a library from which we can borrow books and has a mess for lunch. There are cabins for each professor and a proper office room. The washrooms are maintained well here.

This institute has no ragging at all. Seniors and juniors have good interactions and clubs are really great. There are clubs for all fields such as music, dance, photography, coding, finance, robotics and what not. The club activities are really fun and student participation is really great. Auditions are held in order to get entries into the clubs. The fests are absolutely awesome. There are both technical and non-technical fests that are held in the institute and both of these fests are a real thrill and great stress-busters. Clubs conduct interactive and fun events in the institute frequently to have some fun time apart from academics.
