My opinion on Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna

Overall Rating
Firstly, the Institute takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains percentile of the student followed by JIIT Counselling, and majority of the seats through 12th boards percentage. Secondly, the placements are pretty good, and you will get to a learn a lot here and make valuable memories.
 

Academics Rating
Majority of the students are in the Computer Science Department, very few opt for ECE, less than 15 students have enrolled in the Mechanical branch, and same for civil. The University provides placement opportunities to all the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of JUET are highly qualified reside in the campus itself. Most of the professors have completed Ph.D and have complete knowledge about the course they teach. The only flaw I found here is that very few teachers focus on students’ practical knowledge and most of them focus on theoretical aspects.
 

Placement Rating
We have an active Placements and Training Cell in the Institute which has a good head who handles the placements and the related activities really well. They try to make students perfect for the interview processes by conducting mock interviews as much as they can. The placement drive is conducted in collaboration with JIIT. So, there are plenty of opportunities for the students.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute has well secured and established boys’ and girls’ hostels in the campus. We are not allowed to use any type of induction and kettles. The hostels fee is expensive, charging Rs. 1,60,000/- per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is pretty vintage. The exterior is made of rocks and related materials. The interior is of course above average with air conditioning and projectors installed in the classrooms. Different labs are available in the campus for all the branches. The library is one of the best things in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The University campus is far from the city so a maintaining a fancy lifestyle is not possible here. But if you are determined to change your life by developing your skills and by grabbing the opportunities given by university, then this campus can really shape your life. It is away from the pollution, city life, chaos, but is full of student interaction, helping alumni network and a great coding culture that can really help you in shaping your career.

  • My Honest Review on Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology
     

    Overall Rating
    Currently, I'm in third year of my undergraduate course i.e. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Overall I'd say I have a good experience at my college till now. The campus is pretty big and with well-maintained greenery and cleanliness, calm and composed weather. The mess is pretty much good providing we light food items that will good for the health.
