In my opinion, Kelkar College is one of the top-rated colleges in Mumbai because of its highly educated faculty, expertise in career guidance, good placement packages and effective teaching methods. I am having a very pleasant experience at Kelkar College because of the friendly nature of the faculty.

I have opted for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and I am currently in the 1st year. I had secured 86% marks in the 12th standard and my name was in the 1st merit of Kelkar College. The eligibility criterion of Kelkar college for the year 2024 was that candidates scoring above 80% marks were eligible to take admission. I chose this college because it was based on the New Education Policy (NEP), and it allowed me to choose minor subjects on my own. It gave me a chance of liberal education wherein, I, a student of Commerce background could choose Cosmetology as a minor subject.

All the faculty members are very friendly and very clear in the topics they teach. They are very much approachable. The faculty members of my course are as follows: 1. VEC - Ms. Shirisha Gupte 2. Business Economics and International Business - Omprakash Sir 3. AEC (Ability Enhancement Course) - Yashodhan 4. Business Communication - Shilpi Ma'am 5. Cosmetology - Akshay Sir 6. Accounting and Financial Management - Sharvari Ma'am 7. Financial Data Analysis - Gayatri Vaity Ma'am 8. Indian Knowledge System - Yashodhan Sir and Shilpi Ma'am.

Yes. We have a whole floor in our college that is dedicated for all placement related purposes. Students get latest news about the companies which are looking for freshers and the interested candidates are called for interview. The average package for Kelkar College is Rs. 10 LPA.

The infrastructure of Kelkar college is impressive. All the essential blocks and rooms are present. For example, Boys Common Room, Girls Common Room, Gymkhana, Placement Cell, NSS Cells for Junior College as well as Degree College, Cosmetology Lab, Computer Lab, Science Lab, Mini Auditorium, Main Auditorium, Faculty Room, Staff room, Canteen with a wide variety of food items and drinkables, 6 libraries for various sections, Canteen Foyer, Main Foyer, etc. The college also has a big ground for hosting events that are held many times a year.

The campus life of Kelkar college is fabulous. The Annual Intercollegiate fest of Kelkar - Dimensions brings together many people to celebrate 2 full days with enjoyment. The college is free from any type of ragging or abusive activities. Everyone in the college has friendly and kind attitude towards others. Every student as well as every faculty has a very helpful nature.
