I chose this institute for its strong reputation in the field of education. It’s a relatively young institute and has earned a lot of good points for itself. The quality of education here is also very good and a rigorous and engaging curriculum makes sure that you have gained proper knowledge about the subjects that you are studying. It also has very vibrant and lively social cultures including a lot of students clubs. I was part of the technical team and it was an enriching experience for me. I would highly recommend this institute to students who are passionate, hard-working and innovative. The combination of excellent academics, a welcoming community and abundant opportunities for personal growth makes it an excellent choice.

This institute uses MHT-CET (Common Entrance Test) as the test for eligibility for admission. The cutoff depends on the branch you are looking for and is generally high (above 90). It offers 5 courses in engineering and 1 in management. The 5 engineering courses are in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering. I was interested in technology from the start and just wanted to pursue engineering as it was the best possible option. Had good marks in the CET and then I got this institute in govt. admission process. I have heard good things about this institute so decided to continue with this institute only.

The faculty members at VIT come from various backgrounds holding advanced degrees from various prestigious institutes and also have good teaching experience. The teaching style varies from professor to professor some might use the old-school techniques of teaching on the board while some might allow you to have hands-on experience during the session. The course structure includes a mix of assignments and group projects which are usually helpful and also professors are very kind and supportive and are eager to help you grow. Also, there is a faculty feedback where you can rate your professors for that semester.

Yes, there is a placement cell in the institute. All I can say about the training and placement office is that they are good at bringing placement opportunities for students and a decent amount of students get placed every year. Due to recent hiring freezes, the opportunities are a bit less and less lucrative but still some good companies visit the campus for recruiting students.

There are no residential facilities provided directly by the institute but you can find good hostels and P.G's near the institute campus and in the city as well which are close to the campus. If you are a fresher who is from another city and is looking for accommodations then Vidyalankar Institute of Technology also has some affiliated P.G's which you can refer.

The infrastructure of this institute is spectacular from the outside. The institute looks like a mall or something from the outside and the infrastructure inside is also pretty good. Well-lit, well-ventilated, and labs with proper working equipment are there. Also, there is a recent renovation which is happening phase by phase. It has various recreational spaces such as air-conditioned indoor games room, and various grounds for football, badminton and basketball. It also has seminar halls and a huge auditorium for conducting events of various types. Also it has various food spots including canteen and also has Nescafe and CCD in the campus.

At VIT, the campus environment is vibrant and welcoming. Combining the modern buildings with fresh greenery gives a fresh vibe to the whole campus. Institute fosters an inclusive environment where students from different parts of society come together and works together. There are many clubs and committees ranging from GDG (Google's Student Body) to Cultural Society which has many sub-clubs under it ranging from fashion to drama. They also plan various events including the annual fest "Verve". Academic events mostly consist of invited professionals who give an insight into the industry. There are various community services such had NSS (National Social Service Unit). Also, there are many recreational facilities for students which are well-kept and also there are many sports teams playing university games for the institute.
