MANIT: a College of Unity

Overall Rating
MANIT is an old, prestigious and renowned NIT. I choose NIT Bhopal over other NITs because this was near my hometown and located at centre of India. Alumni group of NIT Bhopal are united & well settled. There are 200+ seats in each department of the Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I am enrolled in the B.Tech (Mechanical) program. One can get admission into NIT Bhopal through merit marks in JEE Mains. In the Mechanical department, 209+ students are admitted this year. My motive behind enrolling for the course was that I like dealing with machines and robots. In MANIT, you will find Robotics Club which encourages and guides you about new and advanced technologies.
 

Faculty Rating
Facilities in MANIT are average. Some of them are too good and helpful. Besides this, at the end you have to make a habit of self-study. Teachers use projector to explain the topic and solve questions for our better understanding of applying concepts.
 

Placement Rating
We have Placement Cell in MANIT, which facilitates placement and internship opportunities to the students. Some students get internship and pre-placement offer in the 3rd year. The cell invited many companies to hire the talented students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facilities in the institute. There is total 12 hostels: 2 for girls and rest for boys. Mess in MANIT hostels is good and at reasonable price. You are going to enjoy your hostel life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is average. Some buildings need to be renovated. The campus is spread in approximately 650 acres land which is too large to explore. Most of the campus is covered with forest.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is full of enjoyment. In MANIT, there are three main Fests conducted named Toorryand, Maffick, and Techno fest. Mini programs are also organised from time to time. You can participate in various clubs like Inspire, Robomax, Techno Club, Rooboroo, etc. which gives you opportunities to explore yourself.

    Since the day I joined this prestigious institute, I've got immense opportunities to prosper in any field I wish to be taking part in the clubs’ activities & fests. The campus is ragging free & we are all proud to be a part of this big family of MANITian.     Amazing place, good seniors, always an opportunity to learn something new. This college is all about unity, and within months you will see that all your batch mates have become your good friends. The seniors are always ready to help you. You can ask them anything related to studies. I m DASA student, I feel this college is good for a NRI. Moreover bikes are also allowed.
