Glimpse About Katihar Medical College

Overall Rating
It is a Muslim minority institution and so I took admission here. The campus is good with lush green surroundings and many engaging activities are also organised there. The people are good there. The college has a hospital OPD for medical activities.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are very tough at the place and it is ranked as number one in Bihar state for its academics performance. There are a total of 19 subjects and 4 years of studying with 1 year of compulsory internship which we have to do at our college.
 

Faculty Rating
Katihar Medical College has a great faculty and it comprises of teaching and non teaching staff. The faculty is very cooperative with the students and they also like to interact with the students. The overall teaching style of the faculty members is good.
 

Placement Rating
The placement stats of Katihar Medical College are good because it is among the top rated colleges in Bihar.
 

Hostel Rating
There are separate hostels for boys and girls and also a different Intern hostel with sports facilities for everyone. The hostel is also very big with 24×7 AC and heater facilities. All the rooms have attached bathrooms. There is proper supply of electricity and water.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is really big. All in all it has a total of 55 acres of lush green campus with an auditorium and other sports facilities. There are playgrounds in the campus where children can play and indulge themselves into activities which will refresh their minds. The infrastructure is really great at Katihar Medical College.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good. There are a total of 700 MBBS students both boys and girls. Different co-curricular activities are organised here in order to increase engagement among the students.

    I belong to Bihar there was two college option first one is Katihar Medical college situated in Katihar and another is mata gujri medical college in Kishanganj. I decide to go with first option that is Katihar Medical college. To get a seat in MBBS all students has to appear in NEET exam all over India and according to their rank and quota they allotted an MBBS seats. Our college is situated in Katihar, Bihar.
