My honest experience at NSUT, New Delhi

Overall Rating
My experience in NSUT is kind of mixed. I am currently a 2nd year student of B.Tech (CS & AI). My experience of the 1st year in university was pretty good. NSUT is one of the top universities. What made me choose this educational institute were its academics, infrastructure and placement. Hostel facilities are available too. Since it is located in Central Delhi, the locality of the university is also favorable for me. I would definitely recommend this university to all of you.
 

Academics Rating
There are many courses offered by NSUT like B.Tech, B.Arch, BBA, B.Des, MBA, M.Tech, Ph.D, etc. For all the courses you have to give specific entrance exams. I am a B.Tech student. For admission in B.Tech, you have to give JEE Mains exam and qualify with a good percentile. I am enrolled in the CS & AI specialisation here because of the major bloom in Artificial Intelligence in the industry.
 

Faculty Rating
My course has one of the best faculties around top Engineering universities. All the subject teachers are HODs of the department. I know the educational background of a few teachers for example, our DBMS teacher is Sushma Nagpal ma'am, and she is the HOD and has completed Ph.D in her field. Our Maths teacher is from an IIT. They all teach in a unique way, and we all understand thoroughly what they teach.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 8 blocks for the Engineering department. There is a separate building for Design students and same goes for BBA. Library facilities, medical facilities, an artificial lake, gym, canteen, football ground, cricket pitch, indoor badminton court, etc. are available in the campus. There are staff quarters and 4 boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostel available as well. Many parks and an Olympic sized track are present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is amazing too. Day scholars can stay in the university till 8:00 pm and hostellers till 10:00 pm. Walking and playing till late night in the campus is allowed. There are more than 10 societies or clubs in our university which conduct various activities and competitions. There are 2 festivals celebrated in our university. Major one is Moksha and minor one is Resonance. Big artists are invited to perform on both fests.

    My experience at NSUT has been fairly well. The infrastructure and technology have all been newly updated and the curriculum is simplified as per new census. I chose this university because it was near to my home and offered the course that I wanted.     NSUT Delhi holds a perfect balance of academics, fun, and opportunities. My experience yet has been thrilling and lovely. The beautiful hostel and campus life have made a tremendous positive change in my personality and have given me an overall holistic development.   • NSUT Campus Review: Highlights and Considerations
     

    Overall Rating
    There is no doubt that there are some better colleges than NSUT like IIT and NIT, which I could have selected as I got 8000 rank in JEE Main, but I choose NSUT over others because of its placement statistics, which are very good as compared to others.
