Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management New Delhi is a privately funded and operated, situated in Janakpuri, New Delhi. It is also known to be the college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is famous for its entrance exams to take admissions in management and law courses. The level of an entrance examination that happens here for this course is not so high; however, it is extremely important to not underestimate the competition because there are a limited amount of seats in counseling. However, besides the entrance exams, there are other ways of getting admissions here that are also through with the management quota. The management quota is helpful but is limited to a tiny number of seats.

I joined here as an undergraduate in the Bachelor of Business administration i.e. BBA. The course which was offered to me here when studied was fully sufficient and is fulfilling the criteria of taking this course. My admission to this course was done based on the common entrance tests that happen every year at this university. Everyone who joins BBA aims to learn administration at its best. What I learned here at this university is that you cannot extend your knowledge on the sole basis of attending classes; you might want to do a few internships and workshops to take full advantage of the BBA course. This course will be only then helpful to getting a job. My expectations of the subjects that we study here in this course if fully met.

The faculty members here are very supportive and experienced. Most of the professors do not just conventionally teach you. Most of the courses that I studied here were taught to me based on the projects given to us. All I want to say is that the professor has opted for project-based learning here which helps me learn it most practically. Besides, this approach has helped us work better in our internships. Before joining the college I used to think that this course is a theory course so I’d rather join the distant learning program and give exams for a degree. But the best part about my college was that I came to realize how practical this subject can get daily. Besides teaching, the professors set an equally tough paper which is enough challenging. However, I was able to pass all the subjects with a good score.

In the last few years, I have seen a lot of top-notch companies coming here to our college. But not all the top companies like Google, Amazon, IBM, etc. are looking for BBA undergraduates; they came here for a variety of students under a variety of programs that are running in the college. The companies coming here offer a decent package; you cannot expect a great package unless you are equally skilled besides the BBA course. Some companies here come with offering a salary package of more than 10-12 LPA, which is considered to be the best amount you can receive here in this college. The average salary that you can expect here which is mostly the guaranteed amount that you might get is 3-4 LPA. It is not a bad amount to start with; however, you can also get PPOs in the internships. There are also companies coming here on the campus that is offering internships.

A hostel facility is not provided by the college, therefore I and many students have opted for rental rooms near the college. You will get cheaper rooms if you go far from college and if you want rooms near college then the prices increase accordingly. I opted for a PG which offers food, personal rooms, sanitized lobby, etc.

The college campus area is not very spread and wide however it is enough to accommodate each student who is a part of this college. However, the college area is not very large the design of the college helps to make it less crowded at times when there are a large number of people at a single time. Besides this, the college infrastructure is very beautiful; it has large window panes made of glasses, single-color walls in each room, and smart class projectors in most of the rooms. There are very tasty canteens and air-conditioned classrooms. There are clean washrooms, hygienic corridors. Also, you will be seeing that lobbies and washrooms are being cleaned every time throughout the day.

There are not very great fests of the city happening in this college; however, we enjoy all the fest that happens here. During my first and second years, I used to participate in these fests; however, in the third year I was a part of the team that hosts these fests. Our campus life went great, and even better when there we had chances to go to fests of different colleges. Like, I used to love attending the fests of IIT Delhi and other nearby events of the city like Ramlila in the Ramlila ground of New Delhi. We used to hang out in the nearby shops, eating places in New Delhi. Being in Metro got so common that whenever we have to travel through a cab it felt differently good.
