Taking Admission at OUTR, Bhubaneswar is Worth It!!

Overall Rating
I chose OUTR, Bhubaneswar because of its placement records and it is in the capital city of Odisha i.e. Bhubaneswar. In this university seniors are like your elder brothers and sisters. They also guide you. They help you in your academic and placement preparation. You can directly call them and ask your doubts regarding anything which you can't understand.
 

Academics Rating
I am from Computer Science and Engineering branch with specialization of AI and ML. If you are interested in this branch then you must join this university. The university has a Wi-Fi enabled campus. In the era of artificial intelligence I think I have changed myself along with changing of time.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculties are good. At teaching point of view all faculties are cooperative and helping in nature. You can ask your doubt and they clear it. Teachers also visit hostel oftentimes. Teachers also guide students how to prepare for exams and interviews.
 

Placement Rating
CSE with specialization of AI and ML is new branch introduced in this university in 2022. So it has no placement records. But in core Computer Science and Engineering branch, placements are too good. In 2024 the highest package of 83 lakh was achieved by our senior.
 

Hostel Rating
Now, 1st year boys hostel is not in the inside of the campus. It is under construction. Still mess food is average. You can travel by bus from hostel to university.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University’s infrastructure is decent. It is under construction now a day. We have 4 main buildings, separate canteen, basket ball court, badminton court, and valley ball court. There are 2 gates in our university. Gate 1 is under construction and gate 2 is open for all.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent. There is not a large crowd at all. But sometimes, during events crowd is very high. Also there are many clubs for programming, dancing, singing, acting, photography, sports, etc. We also celebrate festivals like Diwali and more.

  • Best experience at the University

    It was my dream to crack NEET and be part of a prominent University / Institute / University. For the same I prepared for NEET after 12th but I could not crack it. I gave JEE mains exam and my marks in it were 81%. Due to this reason I joined OUTR because this is a good University. It was recommended to me by my relatives.     The overall experience is great. Unlike other universities, the seniors here are really great and supportive. The teachers will give you positive criticism which is good for your future performance. The labs and classrooms are also well maintained.     Very good platform for getting placements and highly qualified teachers are mentoring us. They interact with us and become friendly to us.
