Being a Medical Student in RMLIMS

Overall Rating
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences is a second most popular Medical Institute of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at the centre of city Lucknow. It started its MBBS course in 2017. Before that, it only had courses like Super Specialty and Masters. However, its hospital has always been super famous in the state (after KGMU).
 

Academics Rating
Talking about academics, HOD of each department takes classes, unlike some medical institutes where only junior residents are given responsibility of taking classes. Apart from books, equal emphasis is given on practice and. Knowledge through a small group learning, small group teaching, practical classes, and early clinical exposure.
 

Faculty Rating
Facilities are highly educated. They have done their Masters from well-known medical institutes of India. Apart of having great amount of knowledge, they even have greater personality to admire. They also teach communication, ethics, and attitude of a doctor towards patient.
 

Placement Rating
After completing our MBBS, we will have to do one year internship in our campus. Only after that, we will have to serve for two years service bond.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are of high-class and hygienic. We have 15 floor hostels. The front view shows us Palassio Mall, the famous mall of Lucknow. The posterior view gives us view of High Court of Lucknow in the hostel. Only we have a big playground for sports and multiple activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of RMLIMS is highly attractive. We have lifts installed in our academic building as well as in hospital. We have glass buildings and marble floors. The LT is not less like a movie theatre. we have projectors in our classes where teacher through their PPTs.
 

Campus Rating
Our institute fest is called ‘Esperanza’ in which cultural, literature, and sports are organized. Sports include cricket, basketball, volleyball, chess, carom, etc. Each student participate in their field of interest and win certificates, medals, and even trophies .We have got a DJ night which is the most awaited day of the year. Apart from it, many cultural activities also take place.
