My take on PMEC

Overall Rating
This is the best college if you live in Berhampur. Its fee is very low as compared to other colleges. There is no ragging in the college. There is hostel available and everything is manageable. If your financial condition is not up to the mark for Engineering degrees, choose this college because I got this government college despite my low JEE Mains rank. If you haven't got very excellent rank in the entrance exam you can choose this college.
 

Academics Rating
For admission you need to give JEE Mains or OJEE entrance exam. You can get at least lower branches. If you just appeared in the exam it’s very easy. You need to get an average rank to get the upper branches. You need to pay the full year fee at the joining and admission. If you want to have an engineering degree this is a good college at fewer prices.
 

Faculty Rating
There are many guest faculty teaching and less regular faculty teaching. Most probably the senior professors are regular faculties. They try to complete the course as much as possible. They teach to complete the syllabus in time and provide extra materials as notes. Few teachers’ help will help you get real world skills in a particular field not just related to course.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell that helps you get almost average 3 lakh package in the last year if you have good skills. Almost 70% students get placed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
You get library and reference room to get your books and a desktop for various tasks. You get bus facilities to the college. The transportation fee is charged by the college for the same. Hostel is offered to students from other cities. There is only one academic block and two mini lab or workshops available.
 

Campus Rating
Fest takes place every year it’s called Exuberance and there are different festivals in every 6 months. The fests have different competition and games. There are many clubs for different activities. You can build your own club and enjoy. You can engage with the senior who are very friendly and of helping nature. The campus life is chill if you enjoy the vibe of the college.

    Parala Maharaja Engineering College is situated in a greenery area. It is surrounded by different kind of trees. The atmosphere is also good. I loved being a part of this college.     Parala Maharaja Engineering College is in Berhampur, Odisha. It is one of the best B.Tech colleges in Odisha and I feel this college is full of good energies.
