Gitarattan International Business School BA+LLB Review By Ayushi

Gitarattan International Business School which is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi offers up to 5 courses including BA LLB, BBA LLB, BA, BBA, and MBA. As a BA LLB student, I can vouch for the college. There are many active clubs in the college with decent college activities if you're an active member of the college club.

BA LLB or BBA LLB are five-year Law programs are divided into 10 semesters. The eligibility criteria for admission are that the student must have taken CLAT, which is the Common Law Entrance Test. The admission is officially given through GGSIPU admission rounds which take place to get admission in all the GGSIPU Law colleges according to rank and preferences.

The overall faculty of Law is good. Every college has different type of teachers so it is true in this college. We have fairly young professors whose teaching style is more lenient and understandable. We also have experienced faculty members whose teaching style is more conservative but they are full of knowledge. There could be 1 or 2 teachers we don't like too much but that also depends upon the students.

The placement cell of Gitarattan International Business School for Law programs is not very much activated but for other programs like BBA or MBA, there are good companies that come to the college. As a second year, we are not very much aware of the law placement cell but students from our college are doing well in the field on their own as well.

As situated in a main busy area of Delhi and having 85% of Delhi students, the college does not provide any hostel facilities

The college's infrastructure is not very huge as it is situated in a busy area of Delhi. The building now has 8 floors with the facility of a lift which is not too much to be dependent upon but the college has all the basic amenities like AC classrooms. It also has a decent library (my favorite place in the whole college), Reading rooms, Common rooms, Indoor games room and pretty decent Auditorium. We also have a canteen with decent food at reasonable price. The area around campus is fine, having a park nearby, food facilities and a printing shop with two nearby metro stations. Public transport is easily accessible.

Overall, campus life is fine if you have good friends. The crowd is all mixed, having good students and students active in clubs and all. The college has many active clubs like Mudra (dance), Abhinay (acting), Raag (music), NSS, Legal Aid Clinic, Courtroom Society (law club) of which I'm a core member, Heritage Club, Lakshaya (sports club), etc. The college organizes an annual fest known as ‘Zenith’ every year. We also have a university annual fest named ‘Anugoonj’ and there's also an annual National Law Fest named ‘Justitia’ having 7 law competitions. There are several regular webinars, seminars and clubs that are very active.
