IIIT is one of the National Importance institutes in PPP model that is Public Private Partnership. It is also a member of the reputable IIIT network in India. For those who are interested in technology, it provides a targeted curriculum, particularly in Science and Electronics. It offers only three courses CSE, DSAI and ECE in Bachelor of Technology. Recently, institute management had started Masters program and even PhD is available.

IIIT Dharwad provides admission in demanding courses through JEE Mains. ECE's hardware and software balance is why I chose this course. Regular updates are made to courses, which emphasize practical learning through projects and labs. Both academic depth and industry relevance are supported by the curriculum.

Very knowledgeable faculty of IIIT Dharwad combines their backgrounds in academic and business. They promote research and place an emphasis on engaging, hand -on teaching methods. Despite an increase in teachers, students who actively seek out mentorship obtain quality guidance. They push us to join clubs and participate in various activities. Generally, they are friendly and dedicated to the development of the students.

Yes, there is a placement cell and it’s called CGC (Career Guidance cell). Recently, another one is also started by new director sir that is HR Conclave. This actively links the students with business possibilities and internships. The institute is promising tech placements, projects and internships provide students a competitive advantage. Even though the placement process is still growing, students that take initiative receive positive results. The average package is 8 - 10 LPA and highest is 46 LPA.

Yes, basic facilities like study spaces, dining halls, and Wi-Fi are offered by the on campus hostels. Due to a lack of recreational facilities, students plan their own events. Although there is room for greater infrastructural upgrades, hostel living strengthens enhance relationships and increases the sense of community. Four people per room, each person is provided a cot, study table, chair, and a cupboard. Laundry service is provided but we need to pay for it separately. Food will be average.

IIIT Dharwad's infrastructure is steadily developing with academic buildings, labs, and well stocked library, it is progressively growing. It has totally 7 blocks they are one is M block Multipurpose block in this all events and indoor sports will held, second is PIE block where all officials and head of the institute will be there and also all office work regarding academics and accounts. Third one is E –Block, Education block where all faculty members will be available here and all class with be held in this. Fourth one is B-block for boy’s hostel and fifth one is G-block for girl’s hostel. Sixth one is H-block i.e., Health block, here small hospital with a male doctor and nurse to provide free medicines along with GYM, store for buying necessary things and canteen will be there. Finally, director’s bungalow is in last block. It is functional and improving to meet student’s needs.

It's a good experience with all groups and clubs like robotics, coding and cultural pursuit. IIIT Dharwad boasts thriving campus community. The institute environment is very peaceful and also unpredictable as we can’t expect when it will rain or when it will be sunny. I personally suggest to always carrying an umbrella. Student body gives a special atmosphere of cooperation. Every year, more events, festivals, and activities are added, resulting in a vibrant, well rounded experience that goes beyond academics.
