Overall Rating
This college is better than other colleges for studying. College conducts different types of programs and it is sometimes good and somewhere mediocre. The college focuses on discipline more than anything else. College treats the students as LP students with highly stricter laws constructed by the college.
 

Academics Rating
There are enough subjects for studying focused on theory and exams. The portions are covered before the semester end. More than 50% is the eligibility to join the course. Management seats are also available for admission. The media department has more facilities. Lab work, theoretical papers, records, projects, assignments, internals, etc are parts of academics.
 

Faculty Rating
There are many good faculties. Many of them are hardworking and sincere. They try to focus on completing their course before the end of the semester. In class room they use interactive method. It is easier to interact with them. There is a good relationship with the faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
I don’t know. I heard the college gives placements to students. But I am not sure about it. Placement cell conducts job fairs and classes to train students. It is useful but the effort of placement cell is comparatively lesser as compared to my other colleges.
 

Hostel Rating
The girl’s hostel is far away from college. They provide college bus to the hostel students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is clean and organized. The lift facility is average. The facility of canteen is average as compared to other colleges. Highly prized. Very congested canteen. The overall college structure is fine, and it’s improving.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is average. The discipline is everywhere in and out of the corner. Many laws build by the college. Crowd is very less as compared to other colleges. There are many clubs in the college but they are mediocre. Lots of fest and programs are organized.

    Ernakulam has only 3 institutes providing PG in Journalism and Mass Communication. I chose DiST to complete my Post Graduation as they had the best facilities for my field compared to others.     Being a media student, my experience was extremely worth my time. Dist provides more career oriented experience, with well-versed and experienced faculties of the field. We are also invested in the institute's extracurricular activities with equal importance to academics.     Considering my overall experience at DiST since 2023. A lively academic setting with committed faculty and a wide range of extracurricular activities is provided by DiST College Angamaly.
