My Life in Neotia University

Overall Rating
The Neotia University is one of top private universities in Kolkata. The university has many departments and well-skilled faculties. The campus is very big and eco-friendly. The class rooms are big enough and the labs are air conditioned. There are smart labs and a big ground. The university has many clubs for students.
 

Academics Rating
The university conducts two minor tests in every semester. The end semester exams are conducted at the end of every semester. The end semester has been conducted by external teachers and the minor tests are conducted by internal teachers. The university provides guest lecturer and workshops for students. The library has many books for every subject and the labs are very advanced in infrastructure.
 

Faculty Rating
The dean and HOD is very good and student friendly. The other faculty is very highly-skilled and have doctorate and PhD completed. The faculty takes extra classes before exams. The weak students are assigned with special faculties. The faculty has connections with companies so they refer the students to the companies for internships.
 

Placement Rating
The Neotia University has two placement cells. The central placement cell provides placement to the all department students. The internal placement officer invites many mnc companies to visit our university and place students in their company. TCS, Datacore Pvt. Ltd., WEBEL, CDAC, and many more company have collaboration with our university.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are very big and cleaned. However, there is great need to improve the quality and hygiene of the food provide in university mess.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The lab infrastructure is very good, sufficient computers and properly air conditioned and smart classrooms. The equipment are new and easy to understand. The lab infrastructure is very student friendly. The buildings are very big. It also has sports facilities along swimming pool, and library. The university has two big food canteens and the university ragging free.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very healthy. The clubs organize many events. The university also organizes fresher’s party, cultural fest, and many more programs. The security of university is very well maintained.

    The university has a huge green campus. Different types of sports are arranged in the campus for students. Beside the sports many events like fresher, fests and cultural activities are conducted by teachers and students. Diverse type of students from different places came for their particular studies....   • A Honest Review of TNU as a Current Student
     

    Overall Rating
    My overall experience has been not bad but not so good. TNU is pretty mediocre. The campus is great and is filled with greenery. My course is good and its departmental faculties are very kind and helpful. They possess great knowledge about their teachings. But the management of TNU is pure garbage. Anytime you’ll go to the management for help, there's a high chance you'll get harassed.... Read Full Review

    The university campus is large and is decent and it is full of greenery. The play grounds are also huge. The fact that the college authorities take anti ragging very seriously. If someone is found in the act of ragging, then he/she is punished immediately without mercy. The faculties are helpful and knowledgeable.     Being a Ph.D student of this esteemed University, I am learning a lot from the administration section, from my fellow colleagues like time management, working under pressure, how to turn weaknesses into strength. I will like to give 5 star ratings for the lush green campus, 5star rating for the facilities, 4.5 stars rating for the food and campus facilities, 3.5 stars rating to the medical harbor, and an overall 5 star rating to the department.
