Who doesn't want to study from the best? Really, who does not? Those who are serious about their career choice in engineering can never be without considering VIT Pune as an option to pursue their passion. Like every other boy with a dream of becoming an engineer, I too chose VIT Pune to follow my passion and never regretted it. VIT Pune provides the best of the advanced knowledge. I never truly believed all this until I experienced it myself. I completed my engineering in Mechanical field from VIT. And trust me; once you get inside, the atmosphere just gets you to follow what your passion is. It just changes you, inside out.

You have to run after studies for yourself, okay? Teachers will not explain every single thing in the class, but if you have doubt they'll clear it, besides you have to take interest and be neck deep into studies. Everyone outside thinks, engineering is just a game. Let me tell you IT IS NOT if you are serious. Hard work is the only key. And if you're passionate VIT Pune helps you in every way possible to achieve your dreams, do not be mistaken for that. They take practice tests, group discussion, field visits, mocks just to sharpen your skill set. The academic plan is set up in a way to shape the engineer in you step by step.

Teachers at VIT Pune are really appreciative. Only a person with experience can warn you against all the difficulties that you might face in future. The teachers take care of that just fine. They are experienced, have advanced knowledge and active teaching skills. They know how to get you into studies when you are out of the line. There were times when some of the teachers helped me by going out of their way; I can never repay their debts. Experiences like this really make you a better person and VIT Pune does make you a better person by the time you pass out.

I passed out in 2021 when the pandemic was still on. So the number of companies that came to recruit was less. Most of the students like us don't depend on the placement opportunities at college. We apply ourselves to the companies we think will see the best in us. But that doesn't make the recruitment companies any less. I've had seniors who were placed in big companies with handsome packages through the placement. The key to everything is hard work only. The teaching staff at VIT Pune genuinely prepares you for the interviews. They keep checks on personality development also. Many workshops are arranged to advance our skills.

The one thing I did not approve of VIT Pune is hostel expenses. The college has a clean and well maintained hostel but it is very costly for middle class students. The hostel has no less facilities. They provide food, accommodation, indoor as well as outdoor games, entertainment room and what not. I was not the only one to think the hostel is costly. Me and some of my friends rented a room after staying a couple months at college hostel.

Another negative side of college is its infrastructure. The college buildings are old fashioned. They do have a library with enough stock of books and they keep adding stacks and stacks of books to it every other month but it has space for only a dozen of students to sit and study. Does the college infrastructure really matter if the education there is good as hell? I don't think so. The food is great though at the college canteen. Clubs are the social part of the college other than studies and placement. There are many different clubs to help students to be social and participate and gain different skills. I was also a member of some of the club's.

VIT Pune provides quality education. Unlike other colleges, VIT Pune soul-ly focuses on education and nothing else. Their main goal is help students get the best education, to get the best placements. And not only teachers, students should aim for this too. Without getting distracted by anything during these 4 years of graduation, one should only focus on their life goal. VIT Pune has taught me a lot about life. You just have to be focused on what you want and success is yours only.
