NSHM Knowledge Campus BBA Review By Mousumi Mukherjee

I passed out from NSHM in 2017 but the pleasant days I passed in this institute & the quality education that I got from it have made a place for this institution in my heart. And, how could it not! After all, it's one of the best BBA colleges in Kolkata, which is AICTE affiliated & has an All India Ranking of 144. After clearing the National level entrance exam & also the NPAT examination, that the institute takes for selecting the entrance of students, I got admitted to NSHM. At that time, I was a bit confused whether I have taken the right decision of getting admitted to this college or going on the wrong path. But, today, I am satisfied that my choice was decent then & the very decision of studying in this college has shaped my knowledge as well as career greatly. Also, if one's aim is to get a good campus placement without spending much on fees, this institute is simply ideal for him. Moreover, the reputation of this organization is unquestionable as it is a nearly 25 years old institution. Having two campuses of the institution in Durgapur as well as Kolkata, you will have the option to choose your suitable location among them. Keep no doubt in your mind. You will get one of the best B-school experiences in NSHM. And, it's not all about academics. Apart from academics, you can also keep yourself engaged in various activities that are organized by the institution. And, how this college balances between the academics & the other kinds of activities are really commendable.

It's just an incredible experience to study in this institution. Its academic setup is just fantastic. The Institute offers its BBA course in accountancy, hospital management, tourism management, global business, etc. and my area of specialization was accountancy. They filter their deserved candidates very smartly. They not only trust a written entrance exam to do that but also arranges for a viva-voice exam after passing the main one. They only select the best candidates through this process & make their future bright with their modern technique of learning. After passing out from NSHM, I can easily confess that NSHM & its brilliant academic setup have supported me a lot to reach my goals. The classes that the professors provide here to their students are highly intellectual ones & literally no student would like to miss out on these classes. Also, the teaching approach of the professors is very much practical & unique. Personally, I never missed a single BBA class of mine during my time & it helped me a lot in my future enterprises.

As I have confided earlier that I completed my NSHM course in 2017, even today, my heart is always filled with love & gratitude towards the professors of this institution. Speaking the truth, I miss them a lot & also their classes now. Attending their classes was really fun. It doesn't mean that they used to waste our time telling funny jokes or stories to us. Rather, they utilized every minute of their classes bestowing knowledge to us in the funniest & catchy way. The faculties of this organization are also very generous. Whenever we faced any crisis in our study & were unable to resolve it, the teachers readily extended their hands & worked out on it. As an ex-student of this institution, I can warrant you that no other institution's faculties will be as cooperative with you as the faculties of NSHM.

NSHM provides its students with a great placement opportunity. The students are hired by many leading companies like L & T, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. I myself got a placement in TCS after passing out my BBA. In fact, several big MNCs around Kolkata have a great tie-up with this organization. All one needs is to make him well-prepared for the companies' interview & if he can crack it, his future is set.

I used to stay in the NSHM hostel during my time & I can say that the hostel facility is not bad here. It's of average category. The boys' hostel rooms are separate from that of the girls' & the rooms are not much developed. You can't stay alone in a single room there but have to share it with your other classmate. However, I may assure you that the NSHM hostel has no shortage of rooms & you will not lack any basic amenities in the rooms. As regards the food served in the hostel, you will be satisfied with the quantity of food they will offer to you if you can compromise somewhat with its quality & taste. They will serve you food 4 times a day. Besides, you also have to adapt yourself to their strictness regarding time.

The world-class infrastructure of NSHM can never be put into question. Its premises are full of libraries, auditoriums, etc. Also, the environment of its campus is pollution-free. The campus is well-decorated with flowers everywhere. Moreover, you will get best-in-class labs, sports grounds, medical shops, mini restaurants & everything within its campus. Furthermore, the whole campus of NSHM is clean & the classes are air-conditioned. Also, various kinds of emergency support are readily provided by this institution.

In NSHM, you will spend a thrilling campus life. This is because, throughout the year, the institution arranges for so many events on its campus. The events range from various contests & camps to numerous workshops. And, the hosts of NSHM always ensure that no one misses out on the fun. Besides, NSHM has many students’ clubs & you can be part of any one of them. By joining a club, you can easily take part in any main activity in the institute. So, be an NSHM-ian and you will remember its experiences throughout your life.
