Life in Thapar University

Overall Rating
Overall, it is a good place to spend 4 years of your life. It feels relaxing to roam around the campus and spend time with your friends. The average placement is decent and acceptable. Also the crowd here is very nice and helpful and seniors here guide their juniors at every step of their life here.
 

Academics Rating
Mostly, the focus here is on theoretical rather than practical knowledge. Hence, the academic environment and settings need to be improved.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is good. They are quite knowledgeable and hold PhD and M.Tech degrees. You can read out to them at any hour in case of any academic issue, personal issues, or for any project related guidance.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell here is working to get each and every student get placed in good company with satisfactory packages.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels in Thapar University are very good. Mess food is very good. The mess management is always ready to bring changes as per the student’s requirement.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is the first thing that will attract any student. The university design is very good and has utilized each and every part of the area. So, the overall beauty of campus is enhanced. There is a park called Nirwana where there are fountains and students can go there in evening after classes.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good here. We have events of many societies. Moreover, there are big events called ‘Saturnalia’, ‘Thapar Food Fest’, and ‘Urja’ where well known artists come and perform in the university.

    Thapar University, Patiala has a very good reputation overall. I personally liked it very much. The infrastructure is also very modern and good. The campus is also really beautiful.     Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is a top ranked college with a huge infrastructure. It is one of the best Engineering colleges in India. The placement rate is above 85%.     The overall college experience has gone really good till now. I am in the first year and I have really enjoyed each and every small moment that has occurred to me. Our curriculum is well structured and designed as per the current industry basis.
