R.V. College of Engineering: Top Engineering College of Karnataka

Overall Rating
As we know RVCE is the first choice for engineering students in the option entry. It is a top Engineering college of Karnataka. This college is the best college in Karnataka in terms of placement after IIT Dharwad and NIT Suratkal. The Campus life is colorful and Vibrant. You meet people from all over India and other countries. The coding environment is overall good here. Many events and ‘N’ number of opportunities wait for you in this college. If you want a decent campus life and the best package as an engineer this college is your best bet.
 

Academics Rating
To be honest the academics are a little hectic here as there is lot of work to be done in very short amount of time. This teaches you how to handle the pressure when curriculum is well designed with collaboration with many industries. The curriculum is designed to provide the students with industry relevant skills and to make them job ready in 4 years. The good thing is that there will be 3 CIE in every semester and they consider the best 2 CIE out of 3.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is experienced and knows what they want to deliver. They are punctual. Their interaction is good and they support the students in all expects. Lecturer encourages you to participate in hackathons and publish research papers. Most of the lecturer here are Ph.D and double Ph.D holders. They are well versed in their field. Their teaching is good and they really put their efforts.
 

Placement Rating
As you know RVCE is well known for its placements. Yes, we do have a placement cell in our college and it is well functioning. As we know RVCE high-test package is of 92 LPA for ISE Dept. which is equal to some IIT packages. The second highest package was 68 LPA. Mechanical branch has collaboration with Mercedes.
 

Hostel Rating
As I do not stay in hostel I cannot give review on it but, I have heard that it is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is mediocre. It is decent and most of the campus is under construction. Once it is completed RVCE will have a world class infrastructure. Now we have separate building for each department except CSE. Its building is under construction and the classrooms are spacious and are well ventilated with smart boards enabled in every class. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. Gyms and sports court are under construction and will be completed soon.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in RVCE is colorful and vibrant. We have around 50 clubs if I am not wrong namely Robotics club, Coding Club, Kannada Club and Rotaract Club, etc. We have so many events that are going on in the campus. People are from different places and you can meet every kind of person here. The ambience motivates you to be productive and the crowd here is amazing. Dancers dancing and following their passion. Overall RVCE campus life is the best filled with energy.

    RVCE is a very well-known and respected institute of Bangalore. Since I have been living in Bangalore for the past 13 years it was on my list. I chose RVCE because the placement statistics were really impressive, and it is situated in the IT hub Bangalore.     I personally like every aspect of the college, right from their curriculum to their faculty. There are many opportunities for students aspiring to be great engineers.     The college provides excellent academic as well as socio-cultural activities. The curriculum is thorough with each topic covered in depth in accordance with the current trend.
