Ramjas College is a one of the oldest and prestigious college in Delhi University which was founded by the great educationist and philanthropist Rai Kedarnath in 1917. It is one of the oldest college after Zakir Hussain Delhi college, Hindu College and St. Stephen's College. It is the one situated in North campus of Delhi University. Ramjas is known for the vibrant campus life and diverse academy offerings in science commerce and humanities stream. UG programs offered by Ramjas are BA program, BA (English) Hons., BA Hons. (Hindi) Hons., B.A. (economics) Hons., B.Com, B.Com Hons., B.Sc., etc. Ramjas is also known for its leniency and if a student is also pursuing any professional course, in my opinion it is easy to manage time here as compared to others.

Talking about academics, the curriculum is designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge along with the practical application through projects, seminars and workshops along with that free study materials are provided by the student community. I am pursuing B.com here. For admission in Ramjas, one must appear in CUET exam, based on one's score he / she will be allotted college as per his / her preference list. If one is interested in sports or Extracurricular activities DU also welcome them from sports quota or ECA. I was always interested in finance and pursuing CA so, B.Com (H) or B.Com (P) were best options for me.

About faculty, I think the professors here are very supportive, approachable and often provide knowledge beyond the syllabus to engage students in critical discussions and research. Many professors hold advance degrees and I personally like their way of teaching a lot.

Yes, Ramjas college has a placement cell named pinnacle and it really helps one to build connections with recruiters and employees of top companies. They invite them for internships and jobs. Pinnacle also provides opportunities to improve their communication skills and overall personality.

Yes, Ramjas has boys and girls hostel. Infrastructure and other facilities are really good. Hostel Life in Ramjas is really fun.

About infrastructure, the infrastructure is well maintained and the campus is really very beautiful. It has post modern classrooms, fully air conditioned computer labs, auditorium and Library. The library offers collection of books digital resources and computers are also available in the library of the latest technology. Additionally the college has various facilities such as sports complex, labs, computer room’s, canteen and much more.

For Extracurricular activities, this place plays a vital role in a student’s life. There are various student communities or societies where a student can find their own interest and join it. The name of the best societies here are Ramjas consulting society, enacts, placement cell or Pinnacle, e-cell focuses on photography, dance society, commerce society, economics society, finance and investment cell, youth India foundation, the stock fisher's club for chess, etc.
