KIITEE & Other Exams for KSOM Bhubaneswar's MBA Program

Being an MBA graduate from KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar. The placement guidance was great from the very beginning of the course along with the helpful faculties. The campus was one of the main attractions among the students. Apart from daily lectures, the placement department organized various guest lectures. The hostel and mess facilities were good as compared to other institutes.

For taking admission in an MBA program, the candidate must have completed their graduation with at least 60% marks in aggregate. The institute offers dual specialization like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations, IT, and much more. The institute conducts its entrance exam KIITEE for admission. Apart from this, exam scores like CAT, MAT or equivalent exam scores are also accepted.

Regarding the faculty of KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar, they were helpful throughout the program. Every 10 students were assigned 1 faculty member as a mentor. Students can approach the faculties anytime for doubt clearance or for guidance. Each faculty member comes from a different educational and work background. Few faculty members at the institute have experience of the corporate world. More than 20 faculties had done their PhD and few were pursuing at the same time. Every faculty member had a unique style of teaching. Especially, the marketing faculties taught through live examples that helped the students to grab the concepts better.

Yes, the institute has an excellent placement cell that helps students to get their dream job. Guest lectures and seminars were helpful to prepare the students for placement interviews. The institute also provided internship opportunities after the completion of 1st year.

Institute offers separate hostels for both boys and girls. The rooms were double seater and had facilities like separate cupboards, study table, bed, etc. The hostel building also had a common room for recreational activities. It also had indoor games like carom, TT, and much more.

The infrastructure facility was one of the main attractions among the students. It has a separate academic building, which was connected via bridge to the hostel building. The campus had an amphitheater, for the students to gather and perform for the cultural fests. Institute also had a centrally air conditioned library consisting thousands of academic books, magazines, e-books, etc. The library had a separate reading area for the student. Institute also had a computer lab. Not to forget, the campus had Wi-Fi facility too.

The campus life at KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar was awesome. Every year fests were organized in which students from different institutes also participated. Competitions like painting, pot making, sports, etc. were held at the campus. The institute also had different clubs like Finance, Marketing, IT, etc. for the students to share and gain more knowledge &ideas related to the same field. I really enjoyed my campus life here.
