Review Title JIMS, New Delhi : A Good College with Great Opportunities

Overall Rating
Jagan Institute of Management Studies is one of the best institutes of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University providing courses like BCA, BBA, MCA and PGDM. The institute has good value in the market as it has been NAAC accredited with A++. This institute was providing good placements so I researched for that and applied for admission in this institute because of good placement opportunities they are providing to their students.
 

Academics Rating
For Masters in Computer Application program we need to have BCA as a graduation or B.Sc with Mathematics or Statistics. For admission in Jagan Institute of Management Studies we need to give a NIMCET exam where we need to get above 8000 rank to get admission in JIMS. As IPU has updated the syllabus and course program for MCA and this is the great motivation for me to get into this program.
 

Faculty Rating
Almost every faculty is doctorate and they have great teaching skills in the same niche they are teaching. Almost every faculty has 10 years of experience of teaching so they provide us with great knowledge that helps students grow. Apart from the curriculum faculties are always ready to teach extra to the students. They always support every student to get away from the black hole and shine like a star in a sky.
 

Placement Rating
JIMS provides good placement to its students. In the end of our second semester companies start to visit for placements. Companies provide internship and PPO to students with an average package of around 5 LPA. Small companies visit our institute in the early days and then major recruiters visit after 3rd semester.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, institute has residential facilities and for that students need to pay 1 lakh per annum. They provide good quality food to students. Room is good and air conditioners are there in the rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute has three buildings A, B and C. A building having reception and libraries with computer labs. Specifically A building is for MCA students. Each building has computer labs separately and 2 washrooms at each building. In C building we have basketball, volleyball and cricket nets. We have one center stage, two auditorium and 8 labs. Gym facilities are also available here.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good. Institute is just in the sector 5 of Rohini from where Rithala Metro Station is just a walk away. Adventure Island is just a km away, ambience mall is in the front, crown plaza and other places are also near to the institute. Crowd is good here and almost students are from Delhi here.

    I find this institute as the best medium range institute in NCR which is offering an advanced PGDM Degree to students. The overall curriculum is solid and as per industry standards. The college provides the right environment for student to grow professionally and personally.     I completed my BBA course from JIMS in 2018 and I must say that it is a good institute to pursue your graduation. I got the chance to study under experts' assistance and gained much knowledge and skills. Moreover, I got the opportunity to interact with industry experts during the orientation process, and enhanced my knowledge and skills. Overall, it is a good institute to pursue higher studies.
