LSR is in itself a brand. No matter what the reality is, eyebrows rise up when you say you're from LSR. Overall, my experience at LSR justifies that respect.

My course is BA (Hons.) Economics. It of-course requires you to give CUET and Mathematics needs to be compulsory subject in class 12th. Economics is a really interesting field and provides opportunities in both government and private sector. Tests are frequent and tutorials (doubt sessions) are taken up seriously. Cancellation of classes happens with prior intimation and is less frequent as compared to other colleges.

I won't say they are top notch. Although, professors are also not less qualified. Honestly, I am not satisfied with most of the faculty in my first semester but as per seniors, we have better ones in the subsequent semesters.

Placement at LSR won't disappoint you as it goes as high as INR 48 LPA which is the highest in DU. Placement Cell is pretty active in terms of internships and skill-building workshops.

It might be disappointing to know but LSR's hostel is not operational and students have to stay at PGs in an environment which is not that safe.

There are no ACs in classrooms and auditorium. However, each classroom in new building has an attached balcony which ensures good ventilation and perfect aesthetic view. Also, you cannot miss out on the beauty of back-lawns which are blessing in winters. Campus is beautiful in terms of greenery and cleanliness. Canteen food is affordable and average in taste (has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options). There's a mother dairy and a Nescafe too. You cannot forget the South Indian food with Veni Aunty (famous for her vada pavs and South Indian food) which is affordable and tasty.

It’s mostly peaceful, home-like and non-chaotic. It does feel secluded but the freedom of being your own self compensates for everything. It's the best place to relax and prepare for any post-graduation entrance. You will find people dancing, singing, and napping without being insecure, etc. at multiple spots.
