My Opinion over Saveetha Engineering College (SEC)

Overall Rating
I joined this college through TN counseling for lateral entry students. Overall, college is very liberal. I really enjoyed the flexible learning system that allows students to select their own subjects in the semester and choose the faculties with their multiple time slots.
 

Academics Rating
For B.E CSE lateral entry, 84% would be enough to get a seat through counseling or you can apply in management quota but it will cost 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh in addition to the tuition fee. If you got seat through counseling then there will be a registration fee 2000 rupees and deposit fee of 5000 rupees.
 

Faculty Rating
There are good staff members. Most of the teachers I know have done PhD. Everyone teach using modern technical aids.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in our college. I am currently in my third year so I still have not started placement training but I have heard, there are good placements in our college and several internship opportunities are coming. The average annual salary package is 6 LPA. And the highest package is 40 LPA offered by JP Morgan.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is average because of food. The stay is good as every room offered has AC even the base price rooms. The base price is 84k and goes all the way to 1.5 lakh for single duplex room with AC that comes with an attached bathroom. There is a 5000 rupee deposit to be amount before joining.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Personally, I am not satisfied with the updated version of infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
‘Celenza’ is the biggest fest conducted. There will be one or two celebrities who are invited in this fest.

    I joined this college in 2023 as a lateral entry after doing my diploma from Bengaluru. I see this college as one of best place to get knowledge in both academics and from industries too.   • Great Place For Gaining Knowledge

    I'm currently in my final year, all these years I've been really good. The only thing that bugs me is the Management they only see you as money. No proper response and rude behavior from their side is intolerable at the same time it's time consuming. Other than that I think the college is good if you expect to have the freedom you expect and enjoy as well.
