The overall experience of the university is superb. I'll describe each aspect in the later section but here let me give an outline of my experience. Jadavpur University offers the best ROI in India, the fees is just 2400 and getting an average placement of 10 LPA (20 LPA for CSE). There's no 75% attendance policy, 45-50% is enough. Jadavpur University is a State University placed in Kolkata, West Bengal. The university is very good and is run by alumnus’ funding; that’s why the fee structure of the curriculum is very minimal. For getting admission in this university, you have to score good in WBJEE. Jadavpur University is highly rated in NIRF ranking. Other than that I had taken a look at the faculty of Economics and came to know that almost every teacher had a PhD degree from a renowned university. Our University is a tier 1 University in India. Placements in department like Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, Construction, etc are 100% and overall placement is 97%. I choose this Institute because it has least fees in the entire country.... Read Full Review

I got AIR 1236 in WBJEE 2023 which led me to pursue my Bachelor in Engineering in the Mechanical branch from Jadavpur University Kolkata. It is a reconsidered Tier-1 Government Engineering University with the best return of investment in the whole country. The fees of only around Rs. 15,000/- for 4 years of Engineering.
