Great Institute life but Average academic life.

Overall Rating
The Institute life is fun if you make friends and are an extrovert. The Institute follows strict attendance and also the negligence of the emergency leaves and medical leaves makes it disheartening for such an Institute with such good reputation. The parties and fun events are conducted regularly and it is really fun.
 

Academics Rating
The course is 3 years long. For admission you require to clear the cut-offs for the SET exam and then you have to clear the PI round followed by receiving admission letter in hand. My motive for enrolling in this Institute was to pursue my BBA degree from a reputed Institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties are really nice and helpful. They are really supportive but some faculties really nag you if you don’t perform well or if you are late in classes. If your attendance is low it makes a hectic experience for students to deal with the prejudice if a faculty is targeting you so I recommend you to stay in their good books.
 

Placement Rating
The placements and internships opportunities in the Institute are very effective and easy to apply for. As the placement cell regularly mails and alerts whenever there is an opportunity and they also host seminars for jobs and internships so that it is easier for students to apply and also they have a choice in which field they want to pursue their internship or job.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is very nice and the food is also very tasty. The food is hygienic and also its very accessible. If you want to eat something beside the mess menu then you can always choose the various food options from the canteen and it is really affordable too. I used to have my lunch every day in the canteen and it was a ball as the food available in the canteen is also tasty and there are lots of varieties as well like Italian, Chinese, north Indian, south Indian, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is moderate or a bit small, as for some people it will feel as it should have more land. According to me it is sufficient but the sports facilities in the Institute are hard to access as if you want to play sports and have to participate in the Institute teams you have to go to the sols (symbiosis law school) campus. It is around 2-3 kilometers far from the campus, which can be a problem for some students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really great as the location of the Institute is really near to cafes and restaurants. The area is also very safe. There are no restrictions. Many facilities for example like: gym, grocery store, 24/7 medical, convenience stores, fancy cafes, restaurants, Manipuri stands, etc are these are within 100 meters of the campus. This makes the students really wander off and have great time after hectic classes.

    SET general is the entrance that has to be cracked with top positions to get admissions at SCMS Pune. It is not just the top college of Symbi group but also the one that commands the highest marks in the entrance. There's a hell lot to boast about the group and the college.   • SCMS is one hell of a place

    It took a lot for me to convince my parents to let me allow going to Symbiosis for higher studies. They denied but after I cleared the entrance test they agreed. The test, mind you is tough and that is the only way to get admissions at SCMS. The college is great, and the best part is that every year students from all across the country and some from different countries too come for studies in this college.   • SCMS facilities will amaze you

    Symbiosis Center for Management Studies offers just 1 course and that is B.B.A. The way to college is 50+ score in your HSC exams and clear the entrance test that is mandatory. The management quota exists but the seats are less. Hence, try getting the entry from the main door as the college life at Symbiosis Center for Management Studies will not just amaze you but will also surprise you with the new things that college introduces from time to time.     Symbiosis Centre For Management Studies or SCMS is one of the finest institutes if you want to pursue BBA. The course has now become a forgotten hero as many commerce students mostly opt for doing C.A., if they are commerce students. I don’t know whether I am earning at par with C.A.’s or less than them but all I know is, I am happy with where I am today and all thanks to SCMC.   • SCMS is a singled out best institute for BBA in India

    'SCMS' has pushed various other Institutes of the country to get better as BBA is one of the best courses for students of commerce background. Yet, science students also joined BBA as they felt BBA is better than pursuing engineering. So, today there may be a few Institutes better than SCMS; but the Institute that has pushed them to do better is none other than SCMS.
