My Journey in Fateh Chand College for Women

Overall Rating
Basically my overall experience was very great. I always reminisce my college time where we make such good friends. Enjoy life with teachers & particularly with my sports. Well I chose this college because this is the one of the best college near my hometown. Other colleges are also there but facilities are not up to the mark. In this I college I didn’t face any problem because educational level & also sports facilities are good, transportation facilities also available. According to me, every student wants to have such type of facilities in their college & especially the teachers.
 

Academics Rating
Well BA is a general course for graduation for the students of Art side. However, if you want to learn a particular subject then you can do BA (Hons.) with that particular subject. Admission process is very simple. First of all, we have to apply for the colleges of our choice then UGC uploads the merit list of students who can able to take admission. This merit list will be based on the marks of 12th class. Main motive for enrolling in this program was to gain knowledge of subjects & have a Bachelor Degree.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are well qualified and of helping nature. Teachers always available for you to sort out your problems. These problems can be related to your subjects or mental health. They have full knowledge of their subjects.
 

Placement Rating
Up until my time in the college, the placements services were not up to the mark.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities were overall good. I was not a hostel student so I can't elaborate it more.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Well, this college has 4 separate blocks. Infrastructure of this college is very good. It has two parks where you can go and spend time during free periods. A big library is also available with full stock of books. A big & attractive mess/canteen is also available there. The college also has a big playground for cricket and other sports.
 

Campus Rating
Based on my experience, overall campus life was great. Time to time, different type of events & extra activities were organized by different departments. Every year, youth festival & other cultural events were also organized by the college. Sports teams also participated in Under college, Under University & all India tournaments. Sports events also arranged at the end of the second semester.
