Tamil University M.Sc Review By Tamil Marai Kumaran

Tamil University, located in Thanjavur. I chose this University for its emphasis on Tamil language, literature, and culture. This University offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs focusing on Tamil studies, linguistic and cultural studies. Now the newly added course, computer science which is important tudying now. The campus is huge with adequate facilities.

The University has lab facilities which are very useful for the students. The teachers also conduct smart classes which are very useful for the students to listen and it build interest among students. The faculties are too friendly and we can ask any doubts regarding the subjects. They are there for us at any time to clear our doubts. The University fee is affordable as it is Central Government University.

The faculties are generally well regarded for their expertise in their stream. They are too friendly with the students. They encourage participation of students. They also conduct regular seminars and workshops. The University has experienced faculty and they are very supportive and knowledgeable. They will explain every topic in both Tamil and English.

Placement opportunities are limited but University efforts are appreciable.

Hostle environment is homely and comfortable.

The University has well equipped classrooms, Smart boards and digital facilities. Cafeteria and canteen is provided with basic amenities. The University is spacious with Greenery and modern architecture. The library is huge and it’s too good and clean. Excellent library with vast collection. Overall the environment of the University is good.

I enjoyed a lot with friends as well as I learned many new things. My experience taught a lot of things to me. I got new ideas and guidance from the teachers. It’s a supportive environment for students. I will suggest this University to anyone for its atmosphere and its affordable fees.
