Review Title National Institute of Technology, Agartala – A Great Place for Pursuing Education!

Overall Rating
National Institute of Technology, Agartala was a great place to complete graduation. I have got the seat in the pandemic. The registration and semester curriculum everything went online and the process was also very smooth. It was guided very clearly by the college authority and also our seniors helped us a lot throughout the process. The faculty is also good here.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Electronics and Communication Engineering. The faculty is so good. They have completed Ph.D with great education qualification and background. The infrastructure was also great with good facility of labs and hardware equipment. We can also work with the professors if needed on any project.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is good here. They will provide us notes and required course material after the lecture. They will also keep the track of the students regularly by taking the tests and quiz. They are also strict at the attendance system. We need to maintain 75% attendance to be eligible for the examinations.
 

Placement Rating
We do have the placement cell in our institute which we call as CCD where the students and the professors will be working co-ordinarily to get the top MNC's and companies to the campus. Top companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft and more visit the campus every year.
 

Hostel Rating
It is good but don't expect more on the food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is great here. It is very spacious and it is built in the outskirts of the Agartala city. We have separate building blocks for each branch and separate lab facilities for each branch. We also have workshops here where the heavy equipment are placed for the students to do the projects.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is great, we have sports complex to play indoor and outdoor games. We have 2 very big grounds to play cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. We also have knowledge park where many events are held. A shopping complex is also made available in the campus where the students can chill and enjoy snacks and other food item with their friends.

    NIT-A is one of the top NITs in North-East India. It is situated in Agartala, which is the capital of Tripura state. I have joined it in 2024 through JoSAA. Until now, my experience with this institute is great. Apart from studies, you get a good exposure of clubs, sports and of course the beauty of nature.     The institute is focused on enhancing its curriculum and faculty to provide quality education. Placement statistics have been showing a steady upward trend with an increasing number of companies visiting the campus. Students enjoy a lively campus with various clubs, fests, and sports activities. Many more fests like Tech Fest and Moksha are also organised in which motivational speaker and celebrities are invited in the college.     NIT Agartala is an autonomous institution working under central government in East India in Tripura state. It is one of the best engineering institutes in India. I have joined NIT Agartala in 2023. My experience with NIT Agartala is great. I chose NIT Agartala to get admission in the department of Chemistry. I was selected in a couple of other NITs for maths and physics but I was only interested in Chemistry. So I joined NIT Agartala.... Read Full Review
