Jaypee University of Information Technology B.Tech Review By Abhinav Pathania

Jaypee University of Information technology Waknaghat known as JUIT is amazing university with lush green campus and is surrounded by many mountains which make it more pleasant to study here. The placement here is up to the mark and the college life is amazing. I chose this college because my seniors of my school are also studying here and encouraged me to join the university.

Currently I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science with Data Science assignment proficiency. There are many other courses here like M.Tech, PhD, BBA and B.Arch. For entry there are two counseling sessions, one is 12th standard basis which has the cutoff of around 70% and other is JEE basis which have the cutoff of 60%. As the current market is growing in CSE so I opted for it.

Faculty is highly qualified, maximum of them have done their PhD or M.Tech from IIT's.

Yes, we have placement cell in the university, we have 1 Placement officer and a student body too which helps placement cell to run smoothly and currently I am the coordinator of that cell. Placement opportunities in the university is good, as the current placement time , this year the mean package is of 7 LPA and the minimum was 5 LPA and maximum is 50 LPA which is amazing. The placement cell helps students to acquire job as we help them to align with the job profile they are targeting and help them learn more about the job profile and company.

We have hostel facilities in our university. We have 4 hostels, 1 for first year boys, 1 for girls and 2 for senior boys. The size of hostels is very large and the rooms are very spacious as we only have to share room with one partner. Hostel provides bed, mattress, study table, chair almirah, cupboard and hot air blower. We have TV room, gym and TT room in every hostel and a canteen too

We have an academic block where all the classes are held and its infrastructure is very huge. It is 6 storied building with a lot class rooms, lecture halls and many computer labs. We have separate floor for senior computer labs where the configuration of PC's is very high end. We have a civil block too which is just walking distance away from main academic block.

College life is amazing here in JUIT. We have many of the fests going on every month. All the festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Many of the tech, cultural, coding, gaming, and sports fests are organized by the student committee known as Jaypee Youth Club, which is managed by students and they are responsible for all the fests going in the university including the main cultural fest known as Le fiestus.
