My life at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
The reason for me choosing Galgotias College was its focus on academics as well as other activities. The teachers here are friendly and very supportive. It is the nearest college to knowledge park 2 metro station and bus services are also easily accessible here.
 

Academics Rating
If you want to pursue engineering then you know you need to do B.Tech. For taking B.Tech in Galgotias College you need minimum 75% in PCM. That percentage is enough if you want to pursue Civil or Mechanical Engineering but if you are aiming for CSE you need at least 90% in 12th boards and good JEE percentile.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are supportive and have a friendly nature. Almost all the teaching staff has completed their Ph.D. The teachers know how to teach and maintain one to one contacts. The time table may be tiring and exhausting but the faculty members will also sometimes listen to you and ends class little early.
 

Placement Rating
As I’m in my second year I don’t know much about the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are available here. Infrastructures are all well maintained and there is a badminton court in hostel for hostlers. The warden will be there 24/7. The mess is kind of good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
So, there are 5 blocks and there are few canteens also in the college itself and there is a ground which also has a pitch in between, it can be used for playing both football and cricket. Also a library is also present in the college with sufficient amount of books.
 

Campus Rating
I am not in any clubs as I am not a hostler. The downside of Galgotias College is that it only focuses more and more on studies and not on other engagement activities. The crowd is getting better and the fests that are organised here average.

    The overall structure of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is very decent. My JEE mains score was not good for any government institutions but still I want to take CS branch. So I chose this college and the college is good till now. The campuses are not so big but you will enjoy here. And the infrastructure is also good here.     Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is pretty good private engineering college, it has decent placement record and a fairly good college life. One thing that stands out is that it stands equal with other private colleges but it is more affordable than other colleges.     I am in 1st year of this college and my first year is going to end in next 2 months. I chose this college for B.Tech degree because it is one of the most reputed colleges in NCR region and specially one of the top in Noida.
